I think the way the author is addressing her personal issues with her weight on top of addressing the other issues when it comes to heavier weight like, the addiction to weight loss drugs due to body dysphoria, being ridiculed or outcasted by her weight, sly comments about her weight, what is the right reason to lose weight, and so on, are pretty good depictions.

No clue if the way the author draws sung Jo's eyes (guy with the baby) is basic, but their drawn so prettily. His iris being sort of starry blue when they were talking in the crowd, or them shining when he's happy is such a nice detail.
I don't understand why the author couldn't just make their back story indepth, and wholesome. Or, even if they still made the ML love the MC, there's no need to make it so sexual. Seriously. If I'm remembering right the next chapters are pretty much sex scenes. It could have been them learning about the world, growing emotionally, the ML discovering some humans can be good like the MC, things like that. And with the context of the back story so far, it feels like the ML has not grown emotionally at all during this timeline to the present one. Why is he so static??
