The antagonists in this story (mostly the saints and Carine) were annoying with their selfish behaviors, but the FL was extremely annoying with how she handled them by being passive or attempting to be the mediator. What really annoyed me was how she was treating Carine. Especially when her man finally comes to rescue her, she asks him to wait so she can say goodbye to Carine..wtf was she doing. Did she not grasp how none of that would have happened if Carine didn't selfishly attack the ML and kidnap her? Did she forget that he continuously tries to kill the ML? I know he can't die, but she was mad in the beginning when he kept getting hurt. Where'd that energy go. I just don't understand why the author made her act that way because it looked like Carine and her didn't even have that many interactions. Am I missing something
Maybe by approach, he's thinking as in, he talked and continued to be around him just to get close to him, and not for actually who his. More as he was forcing the whole thing then being genuine, and he secretly dislikes him but has to put up with it.
And approach is also meant as 'a way of dealing with something'

Why did the plot and just tone of this story feel..weird? Idk what it is about it, but it's always felt like something is wrong with it.
