Hmm, not satisfied with the emperor's death. It wasn't enough and it wasn't anywhere near okay just to blurt those words out and then die. He ignored her whole life and still asked her to show her powers just to make sure? Just to settle his fears down? Just to somehow make an excuse for the reason he left her alone before? Just why did he ask her? Honestly, I'd have liked if she'd told him the truth.. that she's powerless. She's wise, smart, strong and capable and she still wasn't enough. The emperor needed to know this and needed personally to appoint her as the new heir. Her brother denouncing himself and then appointing her wasn't satisfactory also. Idk, it wasn't the perfect ending for me.
Exactly. It like he was apologising for the sake of bearing less guilt for his previous actions. There were so many ways the Emperor could acknowledge Dorothea leading up to his death.

I dunno i kinda liked that it was exactly a perfect ending in a way. Bc she clearly never forgave him but still mourned(?)(I dunno if mourn is the right word) him when she cried bc she’s totally valid for hating him for what he’s done to her but he’s still her father, someone who she once wanted to be acknowledged by and to be loved from. A lot of these plots always have the terrible dad being forgiven and they have a happy relationship or treating the illness of the parent that fate already planned for them but with this they never talked to each other and never got a resolve. It felt a bit realistic in that way bc a lot of people experience that with parents who never acknowledged them properly. The emperor definitely had his regret and guilt abt dorthea and never acted on it. I guess it’s frustrating but in a good way? Bc not all stories/ chapters need to have a resolve in certain aspects and kinda have us think a bit deeper on it.

As she should. Of course she should still hate him and be angry. But it's still not enough cuz he died only with regret and nothing else. He literally gave her nothing except "i'm sorry". No, just no. It wasn't enough
I can't take this anymore. It gets more complicated by the minute. What is happening? Who is the stalker and who is helping the mother? What is even going on? Why did the murders happened in the first place? I need answers like right now!
The teacher is the mothers helper and so far it’s revealed that he’s connected to somyeongs pasted (her brothers death) and she wants to figure out why he’s helping her mother with all of this.

Okay i know that much, haha i was trying to be more dramatic. The more serious questions are about the stalker and the reason behind the murders. We know that the mother is obsessed with her daughter because she looks exactly like her but yeah... thanks anyway!

Oh lol!! You’re welcome I didn’t know that you were just being dramatic lmao
The ending is a little rushed, it could've been a bit better written and explained about the potion and the duke Lenon. But overall it was an okay ending.
A very good and satisfying ending for a manhwa that's dear to my heart. I hope there will be side chapters with their wedding showing. Loved it! It was a good read.
Yeah, I guess? I don’t know. I feel like there’s some things they’re missing. So did that other family completely die? Like, even the kids? TwistedCupid
I think the father was killed but the children were imprisoned. That's the only unanswered question i guess, but i can honestly live even without knowing the answer haha. Maybe if they have side chapters it will be explained there? Idk
if u do know some, can you give me some list or recommendation? ty mewmew
I tend to read BL but one straight one that I like is " I Reincarnated into an Otome Game as a Villainess With Only Destruction Flags" so many different adaptation and even an anima , it's like the prototype

Glad not the be the only one that feels this way

Tysm for this, now I remembered why I hated this manhwa so much lmao
I mean yea, I'm salty for this manhwa's ending. It wasn't satisfying at all.
