Idk man I understand it can be hard to communicate your feelings and Jihye has his own background of misfortune and seems to have always had a hard time with talking with others.

I’m just blown away by how little faith he has in Gyoon, who’s been nothing but honest with him. And this is coming from someone with an absurd amount of trust issues.
Then as someone with trust issues you should understand. He has no idea if Gyoon is being honest with him. He only knows what Gyoon has said to him. Now imagine having someone constantly tell you that they like you and and start to feel the same way back, and then you see them kissing another person right before meeting with you.
Gyoon didn’t say anything about it to him and he didn’t even act weird. Jihye had every right to react that way.
Jihye was definitely acting out of self defence here, he broke off their friendship because, consciously or unconsciously, he didn't want to get hurt because he thinks Gyoon's with someone else!!
He’d probably be in better shape to fight back if his body wasn’t healing internal trauma on the daily js
