It's not unrealistic reaction by ml , you can see it in real life how people some people who act like mannered do something like this when things don't according to them or cause betrayal to them . And it's realistic response as a victim then mc try to pursue him even after that. Only unrealistic thing will be if author try to make them a endgame as a couple .portraying this kind of situation is only ok when your theme is not only a a love dovey webtoon category.
As an emperor he take the decision to punish her, it understandable if he gave the command to do investigation first. And least he can do is to visit her in the prison as a husband while performing his duty as a emperor.
The ending is good , the whole self reflection thing and growth of character Make the story even better. The mc character is different and how he learnt to deal with the situation and accept his own short coming. And like the part where he didn't give up when ml tell his past like other manga where mc become soft hearted and forgave immediately. The mls also likeable in this story. I like how they show the time skip .
It's realistic that make it a little bit scary. There are lot of couple like this in real life. The car scene is so scary if mc was not the calm type, the situation can exclerate in worse direction. Ml is ticking bomb in the relationship.
He is manipulating him like his situation is not the same as the mc. Why he is getting angry about anything like he was in a serious relationship and if you think your fuck buddy is someone sleeping around with others then just end it. Tired of seeing him accusing poor mc.
The way he is typing it's seems he is insecure and don't want to mc to go at the party. As we know his speaking manners and jealousy showing in the text. Why doesn't they try calling. There texting skills suck.
