I get that he's good at balancing his self that's why he can stand up properly in some panels but the placement of his crutch confuses me too. Hey dear reader I wrote something kind of similar a while ago and someone explained it to me a bit so here it goes.
Apparently mc has a condition, which I forgot the name of, in which he makes his own narrative of things around him. Especially the one who gives him love, which is the Top. He is basically fixiated on Top and everything that seems like a threat alarms him. So basically even though his reaction doesn’t seem normal to us its normal to him due to his past traumatic experiences. I mean I get that and I am trying to understand it as well. I cant come up with any better than this bc I really do like their dynamic and relationship.
I also think that both of them don’t really know how a healthy relationship especially communication works so ofc MC won’t tell Top kun that he was jealous, which is actually totally normal and okay.
I just reccomend therapy
Yukuzas, specially men, are really dominant and possessive of their keeps that's why sleeping with another person just to gain crucial information is evidently normal among them because unlike us normal people, they do not associate sex with love and the likes. It's one of the reasons too why they do not let or marry women that are deemed mentally 'too weak' in their organization because they are yakuzas, they battle bad with bad, they are meant to be harsh. I'm not saying its acceptable in real life but this is fiction whos setting revolves around yakuzas and their organization, they do bad things. That is also why in the previous chapters when Yoshino was shushed by her male yakuza elders she just ingnored the shit outta them coz she knows they half meant it but not in a bad way. This is also why she isn't bothered by him professing his love for her yet sleeping with other people, coz she knows business is business, if they don't use their reseources they are gonna fall down and worst die. The story wasn't written for us to witness a fluffy doki doki romance between two yakuzas and people need sto understand that. There are no morals here and that was introduced at the very beginning of the story so one who is wrong here is evidently not the author but those ppl who still read the story nit minding all the red flags that is literally written on the first chapter then proceeds to rant abt how this is not good and wjy they are dropping it.

I legit concluded that the reason his mom cannot go get him back is because maybe she ended up in a mental hospital when she got out of shit dad's grasp because from the flashbacks hyesung has, it is really bad, I'm still trying to hold on to that conclusion specially from the dead look on her eyes at that last panel. His trauma is more severe that we thought, he needs all this time to heal. If he tries to act all positive now the wound will just probably deepen and will cause more damage to him and if worse comes to worst, he might end up hurting his family specially byul. He needs to recuperate and he's not unfair or a coward for that.
