If you don't like the story and its not your cup of tea, again, drop it. No need to tell people that you don't like it and 'its gross coz its incest' guilt tripping others for liking it. No one forced you to read. From the beginning the end game has always been evident, the characters were also separated since they were children, no communication at all to develop their familial love for each other, and just reconciled literally just a few months. It's also evident that they present each other as 'brother' and 'sister' because by law they are under one name.
If its not your cup of tea, again, drop it and don't ruin it for everyone who actually likes the story. This doesn't affect reality what so ever because that's bullshit.
Good day (●'◡'●)ノ

I remember seeing one comment before that was asking 'why she acts like a child even when she turned back in time' or something like this but I cannot find it anymore to reply but my take to it was maybe because most of her life up until she died she was trapped and abused inside that house she did not get enough-- lets say-- materials and influence to actually help her to be more mature fitting to her age. Plus, she came back in time so even if she thinks like an adult her brain will still have the thought process of a child coz its not still fully developed. That is the only logical explanation I can muster so I hope this helps you whoever you are ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Maxi was abused, neglected and abandoned by her own people, family and that can reallybdamage your intelligence that even the most common, common sense is doubt worthy. She was practically sold off to marriage coz they dont want the ml to gain much power and her being deemed useless is the best way to stop it. She wasn't given the proper education that's why she lacks in a lot of area. Its like learning 3rd grade math, just the basics, and then getting a 12th grade calculus to solve. That gap between her education and the education she needed was far too big. That's why she seemed stupid.
3. Imo, she's actually doing pretty well working her self to get accustomed to her new environment no matter how different it is from the house she grew up in. She wants to fulfill her duty as the duchess of the house but doesn't know where to start so she's being clumsy in the beginning while in the the current chapter she's working on it. She's also passionate abt being a good master to their land and is doing pretty well learning things she needs to learn. It's evident that she's knew to the affectionate and appreciative way her people and husband now gives her so she's reacting childishly to it. Like a kid getting complemented for the first time and not getting scolded. Their relationship would actually be one of the driving force for her to gain confidence coz atleast there she can feel comftable and protected.
Appreciate the madam more guys, she got a pretty rough life. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Thank you! You said what I wanted to! Abuse isn't just physical beatings or mental hindrances. Abuse is a lot more complex and traps a person, limiting their reach and full capabilities. Education, interpersonal relationships, power. Abuse damages a person, not just at the moment, but it also creates long term consequences and traumas.
rightttt many ppl always have this misconception that you instantly gain the things you dont have once you step out of that really bad position when irl u dont. Even I who didn't came from an abusive household knows that much. Abuse will be deep rooted into you when you experience it no matter how 'light' it is. Abuse is abuse and trauma is trauma. The manhwa actually did a good job portraying, although not that on point, what will happen to you in every aspect of your well being when you're finally trying to move on from the trauma. I hope ppl would understand that more. ( ̄∇ ̄")
