its crazy how shes praising and uplifting mildred for not giving in to greed and declining that mans proposal since he was obviously a bad influence but condemns young women who were not strong enough to go against that type of proposal or had no choice in the matter completely...i mean does she not think about how many women were forced to marry those types of disgusting men for the sake of saving their family from poverty? or maybe about other widows like mildred whos husbands are dead or missing and the only way to fend for their child or children is to marry another man even if he is obviously a disgusting piece of horse dookie? the queen is privileged and has it made so in what right does she have to judge those young women who took the “wrong path” and had to get married to those exact same men she was just praising mildred for putting in their place?
