For those of you that have read spoilers and are mad because “pauli doesnt love the emperor back”....literally why? We have all been reading the same thing and I know that you all know that pauli doesnt know what actual love is. She has never tasted it, felt it nor received it a day in her life. She regards lucius with a lot of respect since he basically gave her a new life when he made her his knight but does that mean she has to love him just because he likes her in a romantic way? Yes he has done a lot of things for her but does that mean she owes him her heart? No she does not and I’m glad she didn’t immediately fall for him. It wouldn’t make sense if she did knowing her background. Some of yall are dropping this because it’s taking too long which I can completely understand. When I was reading the novel at times I wanted to scream because of how frustrated it made me but seeing pauli’s journey on finding her own happiness in life and what ‘love’ really meant was all worth it. This honestly seems like a rant but some of yall are getting mad at pauli for not reciprocating lucis’s feelings and its upsetting because pauli herself still struggles a lot, and is gonna struggle even more, to love herself so how can she love someone else?
some people want a story like 123 only.. hayst people.relax i am being stress too but thats the story works.. and dont forget its a free site we are lucky to read this incredible story for free.. i will not letting go this i will hold tight hehe..
yes please do stay with this story !! it gonna take a very long while to reach the end that many people so desperately want but the path taken will definitely not be one that you will regret witnessing:)

Agree! I'm actually really happy with the way the story is going. I'm as much as a shipper as anyone, but in this case, but in this case since it's more "realistic" it would really cheapen the story for the characters to do a 180 and start going crazy for romance. There are a lot of great things about this series apart from the love story between the two main characters, and I think it's a shame to not enjoy that just because they're not getting together fast enough.
I 100% feel the same way that people aren’t enjoying the story and seeing it for what it really is because they’re so focused on the relationship between two characters. Lucius and Pauli aside, this story is doing a very great job with showing the inequality between man and women and how vast the standards people hold towards both really are. It also does a great job of showing Pauli’s growth and how she fights these injustices head on to get the respect she deserves and I absolutely love it.
