Rachel is a two-faced bitch. That will try to take credit for everything Marie does (although the Prince will see right through her and will despise her more for it).
She is also conspiring with Johannes but is so vindictive against Marie that she frathlmes her for theft out of spite. That will get Marie imprisoned temporarily.
Then sets a trap for her to get killed/harmed. This act gets her imprisoned for life and even her own family and Johannes want nothing to do with her.
