I was into the bear guy for a bit but now fuck no. Like I get that the uncle didn't cheat, like that's pretty obvious to us. BUT rather than talk shit out, the uncle blocks his friend (its awkward to know your BFF likes you but the uncle seemingly drops the friendship despite years of support for something the friend never even mentioned himself. The nephew literally told the friend to make a move! Wtf) and then he ignores his boyfriend. I get that the bf was a jerk to immediately jump to cheating accusations but he tried to communicate for hours, tried to text and call. Uncle could've just said hey I'm busy or I'm working through things, but he goes ghost. I would also be questioning my partner, like I want to know if you're okay and you ignore me?!
And the bear guy has no room to assume anything, he technically assaulted the uncle.
Worst thing is that the uncle could have discussed his feelings with his bf instead of ignoring him. Like he didn't have to say that he's falling in love with someone else, just that he wants space. If the bf had pushed after that then he's a jerk, but he wasn't even given the chance. Someone said smt about the uncle being allowed to make his choices, and sure that's technically true but it makes him a jerk too. He could've given the bf a chance to rethink the relationship too.
If anything, everyone is a jerk. I hope the uncle, bear, and nephew suffer a bit more though.

I sort of feel bad for the poor bastard that ended up with the Omega twin. Like your "soulmate" is a rapist and abandoned their child, what makes you think he won't do that to you if he feels justified in doing so.
Story could've been better if it had been an accidental heat incident. Making it an intentional choice just makes it dumb because of how it ended up hurting multiple ppl. Which is made even worse by the fact that the twin is forgiven immediately. Could've been better, but I guess the first 2 or 3 chapters were good compared with everything else.
I get some ppl don't like the sis con stuff but I love it. Here's why: it is rooted in idolization. Sis cons and by extension bro cons, put their siblings on a pedestal due to a variety of reasons. This places the sibling in an unreachable place for the sis con, and can create some funny moments and reveal some of the psyche of the character (especially in series that are not just comedy). There's a reason why the sibling is placed on a pedestal, and in this case it is the after effects of war.
Yor and Yuri are war orphans, forced to care for themselves in a world ravaged by war as children who had no say in the politics that lead to the war. They only had each other and they fought to keep each other safe, especially Yor as the older sibling. She learned to care for the home, to cook (sort of), to care for her brother, and she gave up her own dreams by becoming an assassin. She did it to provide for herself and her brother and its not like someone really grows up wanting to become an assassin, so she had to abandon her own future for her brother. In exchange, Yuri works everyday for his sister to be able to live a life they couldn't live as children. While Yuri doesn't know Yor is an assassin, he does know she did her best to protect and raise him. He gave up his adulthood to work as a secret police officer to ensure his sister would be safe, and some of it was due to nationalism but his primary focus is his sister who tried her best to give him a childhood by giving up hers.
Can it cross into obsession with his sister? Yeah, but the point is that he is ridiculous because of it. Yuri idolizes his sister who he sees as some perfect paragon of goodness in a world full of fakes and violence. But can you expect a child raised in the shadow of war not to idolize the only person he could trust and stand by? He's also jealouse of Loid and Anya because they represent a new world for Yor to live a normal life, and he's not part of it. And it seems he's barely starting to accept that part of wanting his sister to live a normal life is to also let go and live his own life.
Analysis over, lol
The brother is shit. Point blank, can't say anything else about him. Obviously he did something that the MC knew and they want to ensure his memories don't come back. Makes me think that MC wasn't the one who committed his sin, and perhaps it was the brother and the MC was the only one to see it. Then everything else has been manipulation by the siblings.
The sister is arguably equally as bad as the brother. She is the true master of the house, she has the authority to ensure her brother does not hurt the MC. She could have MC sleep in better quarters, she could have MC serve her directly instead, or she could take MC with her on her trips outside the castle. However, she doesn't and she allows her brother to hurt MC with no consequences. But she not only pretends to not see, she also supports whatever her brother did and has made sure that the MCs memories do not come back. It seems she also made a deal with the ML but she hasn't kept her word either.
Both siblings are shit.
The story is not some revolutionary thing, BUT I think it has done something interesting at the least. JK is not in the right at all and as someone said, the bar is in hell, however at least his character has been consistent enough for this to work. In your average chasing arc, the chaser would immediately realize their mistake, change, and do everything to help the one they love (regardless of how fucked up they were and of how much it would actually take for them to change). But here JK still acts the same despite starting to realize how he fucked up, because his character is self-centered and it would be difficult for someone as proud as him to admit they aren't doing things for themselves. Even then, JK is still focused on himself, on the fact that he needs Dan for his own plans (having Dan by his side would just be a happy thing for his ego, as Dan even loved him at one point and doesn't that stroke someone's ego further).
And until now, it hadn't actually sunk in for JK that he has to actually show care for Dan and focus on Dan (not just take him to the doctor and say "now fix yourself"). And it does drag the story because of it ngl, which is a downside. But it actually shows that JK needs to focus on Dan not himself, because that's not a chasing arc, that's just continuing the manipulation from before. But ultimately, the bar might actually be lower than hell, so we'll see how that goes.
Honestly I love her and I have always rooted for her and Yu.

While the two marry at different ages, it is a political marriage. Also according to the manga, minors aren't allowed to have sex to consummate a marriage until they are 18. The kiss at the ceremony was just a formality, it didn't mean anything in particular aside from that. Also the heat thing is not something they control, that is usually the stated reason as to why omegas are treated badly (heats cannot be controlled thus omegas are "trying" to seduce others). Ilya just finds it comforting that there is someone who doesn't just see him as an omega (his own blood family despised him for it), and when he had a heat (a sign of an omega) he was reminded of his status as an omega.
(Rant about age gap from the scanlation version) ----->
It is made clear in the beginning that Ilya is way older than Khalid, mostly because it is a political marriage. Ilya was the only Omega of his country's royal family, unwanted mostly, and Khalid was the young king in a country that values omegas. Although Ilya found Khalid interesting, it wasn't because of romantic love, but because he has never been treated like an equal by others. And it seems Khalid developed some sort of puppy love for Ilya, however that was one sided.
Over time the two began to care about each other, but it wasn't like lovers but just two people caught in political drama. It wasn't until years later that both actually developed a romantic relationship based on the more platonic feelings from the past and how they valued each other in the present. They didn't even act lovey-dovey until the Civil War ended. So yeah you can be put off by the political marriage between an 18 year old and 10 year old, but there wasn't anything romantic or sexual until 8 years later (in which both were apart due to a civil war).
If some scumbag thought that I was buying his attention I would dump him, so the mother is just fucked up bc 1) she could've divorced and taken revenge on her cheating spouse by leaving him nothing then, but she just rapes him?! 2) she also fucks up her own child and encourages him to mistreat his father (rather than just taking the high road and letting the father get his own karma). I do get she felt hurt that someone she loved only saw her as some sort of sugar mommy and not an actual lover. Like I would hate for that to happen to me, but she decided to teach him a lesson by then acting even more fucked up????
The father obviously was self-absorbed and would do anything for money, like he didn't even love his own child. He also was a cheater who used his authority to take advantage of others. Like he's not innocent despite the fact that I understand his anger, because I would also hate if my spouse controlled me and raped me. Btw, for anyone who thinks the mother was right in what she did, just flip the genders: a man who is controlling finds out his wife cheated, but instead of just divorcing, he rapes his wife into submission. Shouldn't have to point this out this way, but some ppl are irritating.
The son can be considered the most innocent but not really better than his mother or father. I do understand that he was fucked up by both his parents, because one began ignoring him and the other manipulated his emotions. He clearly was attached to his father and suddenly being ignored was not healthy, then the whole witnessing a rape was not good either. Add the fact his mother manipulated his emotions and used her son to further control his father after her death, and he's fucked up for a reason. But man he truly does take a page out of his mother's book by acting just like her, rather than letting go.
Can't wait for more (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

The premise could stay the same, except that instead of the shitty excuse, it could've been a genuine accident instead. Like the twin brother understood the MC and ML had mutual feelings and wanted to support them, but whoops, accidental heat. The pregnancy then forces the twin and ml to stay together, they both feel responsible and guilty, staying only for their kid. However, the accidental heat and pregnancy, suddenly being married to someone he doesn't love/doesn't love him back, and also being with someone he knows his brother loves/that loves his brother leads the twin to run away out of guilt and anxiety. The MC and ml live together the same while trying to find the twin, and when they find him they have a discussion about what happened. Through that, the ml and MC find out their mutual feelings while resolving the awkward situation regarding the child's true parentage
