I was willing to overlook some of the minor stuff because of nostalgia (I would've just skipped the parts with the glasses girl cause she is super nnoying), but man this is disappointing. The issue is treated like a joke, and it might as well have been anything else they argued about. Like there is zero plot relevance for the fight to even happen, it could've just been about the whole club incident instead and it would not have made a difference. And adding the kiss doesn't fix anything, it just came up to deflect from the argument. And Byul hoping his mom sees his grandmother is dumb because supposedly he understands why his mom doesn't want contact with the scumbag.

Officially over this one, might pop in for a check up in a few months to see the train wreck, but it's shit.

Dojin is in the wrong for hiding his actions, especially because Hyesung cut off his mom for legit reasons. However, that does not mean Byul is not wrong. Byul knew his mom cut off contact for a reason, he could've asked for more details at least from his dad (who knows the exact reasons btw). Byul also is not wrong in feeling hurt by the idea that his mother abandoned him after birth, because it's true. However, I think he's grown enough to understand that while he (Byul) was abandoned, he was left with his dad who loved and cared for him until his mother returned (and who never left or mistreated Byul after). Hyesung was abandoned in an abusive household, and his mother refused to look for her son. The mother left and never turned back until when it was convenient for her, that's the difference.

I will officially hate this series if Fargo decides to have Hyesung forgive his mother. Hyesung can apologize to Byul, and Byul and Dojin SHOULD apologize to Hyesung, but Hyesung SHOULD NEVER APOLOGIZE TO HIS MOTHER. She should still have to face the consequences of abandoning her child, and she shouldn't suddenly have open access to her child's life. Even her new family left her because they realized how fucked up she was in leaving her son to an abusive husband (remember that she hadn't divorced her husband when she left yet, she came back later to divorce him and could've tried to contact her child then but refused to do so).

I get the impression ppl are confused about it. Yurito's lineage is the initial family that dealt with the beasts but it's not the only one. So not all the mates are related by lineage, but coincidentally Yurito and Coro come from related lineages from the original beasts and the first mate, although it's basically negligent how related they are by now. Also, beasts do have multiple mates, so it's possible that there's an even larger relation gap because of it. Point is, it's like 4th or even 7th cousins getting together, there's basically no genetic or even close family relation at that point.
