I think some people are forgetting that Guwon & the hounds have killed ppl without much thought, only to ask questions after. For the girl they killed her friend and were certainly going to kill her, for Teach the thief/father was killed immediately and Guwon only looked around to find a reason to save Teach. I am sure the other villagers have had similar stories, and understandably they keep going. If they were to die or give up then that would only make the deaths of their loved ones even more worthless. Does that make them somewhat hypocritical? Yes, but not without reason. Especially considering the hounds are like a loyal cult of followers, who I'm sure have a hand in the creation of the rules and their enforcement. Although they're usually out, I'm sure if they came back to chaos or heard of Guwon being hurt, they would kill the villagers. Their only priority would be Guwon, so the villagers can't be rash in their actions out of fear. But it does seem they've had enough. Not that I think the plan will work. My thought is that they will fail and lead to 2 routes, the rebellion is squashed and Teach becomes some sort of prisoner to Guwon (who'll be conflicted) or the rebellion will fail and escape, with the hounds chasing after them.

But I saw someone's theory thats possible too. Teach will have a moment of clarity that will reveal everything after trying to kill Guwon. Meanwhile Guwon will have to face how his actions have been viewed and how everyone views him - which is a lot of different things. I'm sure the hounds cheer anything he does, meanwhile the villagers walk on eggshells for a reason. And Teach is becoming indispensable to Guwon BUT Teach holds anger, love, frustration, and fear towards Guwon.

If the site goes down, I will be blaming the people going to Euja about this topic. I will not blame Euja. Stop trying to have the last word or to "clap back" on twt. Stop posting the name Euja and mangago in the same post.

If this was about any other topic, I wouldn't care because it doesn't reflect on us. But this topic directly affects us, so stop trying to get internet points by going to Euja about it. Rant here or on your private accounts, but stop adding to the fire. If this goes on, Euja could go after this site.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't feel hurt by Euja's words. It's not like I care, but if you feel hurt, then stop interacting with her. Stop giving her attention and views. Getting this story down is only going to benefit her anyways, so why remove it? If you believe illegal readership helped her so much, then stop giving her attention. This story is almost over anyways and you can decide if you'll support any future story.

Point is, let this blow over and we'll be fine.

I think most forget that we are actually hated by more authors than just Euja, and I'm sure they've said worse about us ngl. Euja is wrong for her actions, so are we. There is no room for discussion here. Euja should have been more responsible with her words and actions, but the reality is that many more authors have tried to be nice about it too. People point to MeatBun (Erha author) who allowed translations, but you have to understand that MeatBun didn't have a legal translation yet, so that point is mute because now she wants you to buy the legal translations. There was even a whole twt fight about deleting fan translations and to buy the official translations.

And if you think about it, it's mostly a service problem - I dislike most comic publishers for how hard they make it to buy or how bad some translations are. But there are some things that they can't control, if a country doesn't allow 18+ LGBT media, they won't let the company operate there, and they can't stop piracy without literally safeguarding every comic they publish. And that frustrates authors as much as readers, and Euja is an extreme example of that anger. But I know of multiple authors stating they hate illegal translations.

For the person that will inevitably respond, I can't make you love Euja or see her in a better light. It's not like I love her either, I usually don't care about authors unless the story is something I love. And while I like this story, it's not at the level it has changed my life, so I don't think much of Euja. And I have lost respect for her, but it's not like she will care anyways considering I read illegally.
So, I agree she was wrong, and you are free to be angry about it. I am not angry though because I have come to terms with the fact that authors won't love me for reading illegally.

We've been knowing Euja HATES us. She's screamed about it for years. I don't have respect for her but anyways, hope we don't see any bigger repercussions.

PSA kids! WE SHOULDN'T MENTION ILLEGAL/UNOFFICIAL TRANSLATIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA SITES.

I don't care what Euja said, I would be a hypocrite to feel hurt by an insult about the fact that I read illegally. Quite frankly I've ignored a lot of authors because I've supported them by promoting the legal sites/buying official releases. All this to say, anyone feeling hurt and insulted has no place to say "I won't read anymore!" Or "The author hates poor people!" Mostly because Euja has repeatedly asked people to read on the official website, so have other authors. I follow Euja, so I know that she has had these complaints for years. (BTW, I do agree that Euja was rude and I have lost some respect for her although I understand her anger.)

However, what made this a major problem was the fact that some dumbass decided to flaunt the unofficial translations on twitter (⊙…⊙ )

Let's get one thing straight, any unofficial translation should never be shared where the author can see. This is due to the fact that they can either a) go after individual translation groups (meaning no more translations at a higher quality) or b) go after entire websites (meaning you'll have to find another website or risk having multiple takedowns of content). It is courtesy not only to the author, but to other readers to be on the downlow about unofficial translations and illegal websites. You are risking your own entertainment for some clicks online, so you shouldn't be surprised when authors get mad. There was at least one comic I know of that was ended because the author hated illegal translations, and Painter of the Night is not on here completely because the author threatened to sue the site. I implore everyone to just shut up, let the heat fly over, and move on.
