its so crazy to me how people are saying that the fl is dumb. shes not dumb, shes literally just a victim of manipulation. there's hundreds of wives out there that have the same midset as her, and how she acts is even more justified. from an outsiders perspective, it looks like shes being unreasonable, but don't act like you wouldn't act just like her if you were in her shoes. she was obviously very mistreated while she was a commoner (you don't have to know her backstory to figure that out) and her husband saved her, gave her nobility, was extremely nice to her, accepted any mistakes that she made, under the condition that he could have mistresses (which were at the time, very normal). even if she knew he didn't love her, why would she throw away the lavish life that she was given for free??????
