So after reading this where I left off at Ch 129 to Ch 141....ehm~ what happened to snake? Did he die or just passed out?

He basically confessed got brother zone and then he choose his own path but then the mc got in danger so he protected the mc and got severely injured from the landslide and then i think the snake girl took him away. Not really clear if he died or the snake girl saved him.

Why does the kitties not transforming back into their human form anymore?
They rarely ever do that in the book. Rather than humans that can turn into cats, seems they identify more as cats that can turn into himans.
That scene in the beginning where they took human form seemed a one-off for them, - they took a form they usually wpuldnt to be avle to communicate without revealing they were cats, in order to warn cale.
Im in the second season of the novel, 273 ch in, and they have taken human form like a handful of times.
Honestly if I could turn into a cat, I would. You get to sleep whenever you want wherever you want. Food. Bed. Brushing. You would be extremely pampered (by a certain butler).
Spoilers are saying that FL is actually Erne's sister & Reizen's fiancé that died. But how come they meet at Ch 45 in her past life as a kid, they not that big of age gap. Could it be that FL has more past lives then? Otherwise it doesn't make any sense to me
maybe he just seems much older, he was 15 when they met at that scene, he probably is a bit older than her or she didn't develop properly because of hunger, who knows

If I’m not wrong, FL was 2 years younger than Reizen, and in that scene he was around 15 (like all male leads he was just well developed) and that would mean FL was around 13 which combined with the fact that she was most likely malnourished would make sense that they looked so far apart in age
I might be totally worn tho, but since FL was also only two years older than Erne (who just turned 18) she would’ve died with 20 years old, would’ve been 7 years between the meeting with Reizen and her death for her to make it to Sword master level idk idk ╮(￣▽￣)╭
