So, kind of a let down. I like to read the manga with a bit of distance of the novel so I can enjoy both. But seriously... This scene could have been so much more and I don't think the way it happen here would cause the same impact on the story. Also, it bothers me a lot that the artist tried to show the brother's side, like the abuse had a justification. They even made her look kind of crazy with the drawings, and not someone who had enough. This was supposed to be the 'enough' Ruby needed to distance herself of her past, it was an important moment in her development, but it kind of showed her brother's.

I don't know... I will drop this for now. The MC looks like those original protagonists in reincarnated plots where we follow the villainess, you know? Those which no one can hate and it's just annoyingly sweet and innocent but not in a good way, because that's her entire personality. And her love for Ulysses since day one... It's just so unnatural, I don't know how to explain it. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer someone who have a good nature and is sweet, but have other things going on for her.

I don't know exactly why, but there's something bothering me about the story... Everything looks so artificial. How could the green guy pick the squirrel of her head as if it was nothing and she just stood there without moving? It was supposed to be at least a bit strong, but it just let he do whatever? I understand her being suspicious but I don't know...
I really liked the way the author made this last chapter. We all thought that Jiwoo would win or someone would intervene, but seeing him lose and the one who spare him being Siwoo is refreshing. Maybe it doesn't make a lot of sense, but I think this decision was made because, among other things, he didn't think he would survived after killing Jiwoo, he was ready to sacrifice himself for revenge. But when he understood that Jiwoo was ready to fight till death too, Siwoo realized that he would honour his master more by being alive.
