but I also detest the FMC. She allows herself to be swayed by the 3rd wheel's advance and lies to her boyfriend about what she does with him. the MC is much better off finding himself a new girlfriend who won't cheat on him.

She didn't cheat on him and he was at fault to for acting as if everything was alright and dropping the boom. By a boom I mean imagine if you choose to commit to a long distance relationship for Couple of years and then when that time is shortning your lover calls you and say it will be extended putting you in a rough spot. He was taking her for granted, what is she supposed to do either let him be or be an obstacle. That's explain why she wanted to break up. And bruhh he didn't even bother coming back he is busy give me a break he could if he wanted but his egoistic self wouldn't allow him to jeopardiz his career and then he says he value her as much as work give me a break.
Needless to say he did some questionable decisions in the beginning of the relationship.

Preachhhh man... This is exactly my thought.. Correct me if i'm wrong, throughout the whole relationship, Asuka seems to be the one who gives in all the time. Like how she who dreams of being married, gives in to Ryu and willing to compromise on the issue of marriage and like how she supported Ryu's career and let Ryu went to America..

why manga authors have to rely on blackmail to initiate a plot. What is more baffling is why most of the blackmailed don't actually tell the blackmailer to buzz off, especially guys like this MC who has no problem standing up to delinquents and who could easily defend themselves against such weak and contrived blackmail.

to find a nicer, sweeter, more adorable and particularly more sincere MC in any of the manga out there than Takuma-kun. Likewise, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more shallow, selfish, vacuous and unlikeable FMC than Karin. The story relies heavily on the supernatural element, although it's easy to suspend disbelief as it's such a corny one-trick pony. I felt annoyed and irritated after reading most of the chapters (because of Karin, of course), but I stuck with to the end just to see of Takuma-kun had a happy ending.
Pushy, obnoxious over-confident guy blackmails girl who just wants to be left alone.
