Thanks for the spoilers guys, you saved me! After hearing what will happen, it reminded me of this other story of a single parent mangaka guy who has a gay son. That story started out as promising, but totally kicked my mental nuts in with the ending.

You and me both! In my fiction/fantasies shota doesn't affect me one way or another. It's not a turn on or repulsive. However, that particular title just rubbed me the wrong way and it has stuck with me ever since. Bear in mind, I read that YEARS ago and, to this day, refuse to read it again. TBH I don't even remember, precisely, what it was that I hated about it. Ah, shit. Now that I've said that, I feel like I have to read the damn thing again just so I remember what I hated! LOL

And major squick factor for choosing an innocent child (teenager, but still REALLY gross!) , and his own damn son's best friend and crush! WTF? And how criminal to leave him wide open for predator-san, your damn editor! Gah, this manga gave me an aneurysm! (Kidding! ) If the selfish, self-centered, egotistical moron had brains or morals, I would have been so much happier.

This was just top notch. Read it on another site before but I'm glad I could give it the 5 stars it deserves here. The mum will most likely go to rehab or some institute, but screw her anyway.

Exactly. Not to talk of the poor use of English, and the annoying bubbles that made sentences that could be spoken in normal tone in conversation, seem like a shouting match! smh
