Um... Title doesn't exactly match-up here, does it? Nine-month scandal implied that the ending would come after the baby was born. Instead, they don't even mention the PREGNANCY until AFTER the wedding on the very last page. Harlequin needs to start paying more attention to how they title things. Just read one that had Christmas in the title and I don't think it was even WINTER in the story.... DEFINTITELY wasn't anywhere near Christmas. Nor was Christmas even MENTIONED. Go figure.

And the mom... GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR....... Oh how I want to smack her! She took her daughter away because she wanted to "TAKE WHAT WAS MINE. WHAT I WAS OWED." Your daughter is NOT AN OBJECT!!!!! If she had said, she couldn't bare parting with both her daughters, and wanted at least ONE by her side, and had actually been a loving mom, I could have forgiven her actions. Instead, she not only took one of her daughters, lying about her dying, but she couldn't even be bothered to be a proper, loving mother to her and simply acted cold. WTF WAS THE POINT IN TAKING HER THEN?!? No. She just wanted to get one over on her husband because she didn't like being in an arranged marriage, and she ended up making BOTH the girls suffer for it as well! The only silver lining to this is that it allowed both girls to meet the loves of their lives (and while the sister's love interest has some less than stellar issues, he isn't the worst guy I have seen in Harlequin, and the ML here ended up being a lot more decent than he first appeared), despite how they initially came off. At least the King/dad was overjoyed to see FL, and find out she was alive and let both girls do what they wanted in the end. But mom? Drop her off a cliff please.

Sorry, but she needs to sue her mother. Telling Chantel not to show up again is NOT going to stop Chantel from stealing her identity again. She will keep doing it, and even more so, now that the FL is married to a rich earl. Sue mom and have her arrested for fraud and identity theft and teach her once and for all that she was WAY out of line and needs to leave them alone FOREVER. As for the ML's mom and brother, I am glad they are dead. I just wish I knew why they hated him so much. That was HORRIBLE! They deserve to suffer in hell!

"I am never going to be able to walk again, so I should make my fiancée hate me and think I am cheating on her so I won't be a burden to her! ... Oh wait, I just needed physical therapy. Ooops." ... See how stupid that sounds? Yeah.

Gads... What part of being broken up do people not understand? He didn't sleep with another woman until AFTER they had broken up officially. Yes, his comment about not being able to resist his urges was definitely crass, to say the least, but he did NOT cheat. You have to still be in a couple with someone for it to count as cheating, and SHE had broken up with HIM. Yes, he rebounded a week later. It happens. They may have been young adults, but they were still adults.

Hell, I was 19 when it happened to me. I broke up with a guy and he slept with a friend of mine 3 days later, and my friend and I handle it a HELL of a lot more maturely. I don't include him, because he wanted to get back together with me and insisted that the reason I kept saying no was because they had slept together, instead of listening to me try to explain to him that it was because he was still refusing to fix the problems that led to the initial break-up, and then decided to try to manipulate me into taking him back by telling people to tell me he was suicidal. The point is, I didn't care that they slept together. They were both over adults (the same age as me), and I was the one who broke up with him. I had no right to complain. Neither did the FL in this.

Yes, I can see her being HURT by it, and that she would change her mind about working things out with him (since it would come off as him not loving her anymore instead of the rebound from his own broken heart that it most likely was), but calling it a betrayal is incorrect and to call it cheating is flat out WRONG. He was in the right on that.

When he said he brought the baby with him from England, I was right there with the FL. My first thought was "And you left him in the CAR?!? YOU ASSHOLE!!!!" LOL Glad to see almost immediately that I was wrong. And I don't mind that she agreed to take care of the baby of her cheating hubby and his mistress. After all, it was NOT the baby's fault. That little boy didn't ask his dad to cheat or even ask to be born. FL knew and understood this and I think that is awesome!

Even celebrities get spam. It is small details like that, that make me enjoy these stories even more. Just a nice little add-on.

Sorry, but until Kanghee gets over his inferiority complex and deals with his trust issues, any relationship between them is doomed. NOW, IF Kanghee actively works on those issues, and gets them BEHIND him, and stops with his games, his blaming Seonjae for his own choices and actions (though I am NOT saying that Seonjae is completely innocent either, just not as toxic), jealousy and all that, then I will go ahead and ship them. But NOT until then. Seonjae deserves better than Kanghee as he is now.

Liked it, but it would have been better if Dea had been trying to play match-maker for Rini to Alessandra from the beginning (as it would have been a nice little twist).

And it also would have been better if Dea had NOT decided she wanted to marry Rini right after meeting him (at the beginning). I mean, they had met ONE TIME, and she was already telling her dad "Hey, I am bringing this guy to the party, and he is the one I plan on marrying," even though Rini hadn't even stated whether he wanted to date her. Granted, I could be wrong and she could have been referring to a different guy, but the fact that there was never any mention of this love interest being introduced to her dad, and Rini was the only one we know didn't show up and she keep looking for Rini at other parties, it seems to imply that she was, indeed, referring to Rini. Maybe if we get her story, we will find out differently.

I am glad though, that Dea ended up NOT being a total b*tch and backed off the very moment she realized that Rini and Alessandra were into each other. And she gets bonus points for tricking them into seeing each other so they could mend things, and for honestly loving her sister.
