There are just .... SO MANY things wrong with this story, I don't even know where to begin. Both sets of toxic, manipulative parents, sleeping in bed NAKED with another woman (even if she was his cousin, wasn't trying to break them up, and was just comforting him. They could have had the pair in pajamas and STILL gotten the effect of Louisa thinking he had an affair, and it would then have been a LOT MORE forgivable and understandable as a mistake), the revenge-minded trope, and SO MUCH MORE. And I have stated it before, and I will state it again, but if someone reacts like THAT every SINGLE TIME they get jealous, and they have a tendency to GET jealous THAT OFTEN, then you should RUN! Run as far away as fast as you can! Because that is a MASSIVE red flag for a relationship.

Don't know WHY people are dissing the ML. For starters, he told Julia it was never going to be serious and only casual. He is an adult, as is she, and adults are allowed casual relationships when all agree. Also, he had apparently tried breaking it off with her already, before he made a serious move on Grace. He and Grace never went past kissing, even when they confessed that they truly loved each other, and the ONLY reason he thought of marrying Julia was because she lied about being pregnant.
As for the "He slept with her friend though" argument, that went down the drain the moment Julia LIED to Grace about being pregnant, just so she could make Grace an unwitting accomplice to her lies so she could get Matteo trapped in a marriage he didn't want. At that point, Julia showed she cared more about getting her "pay day" than she did about her "friend."
Maybe I am just looking at this differently, but I think that Matteo is actually one of the rare decent MLs in Harlequin. The only toxic person here was Julia. And as far as she is concerned, good riddance to bad rubbish.
I honestly hope those two NEVER get a real cat. Cause that would make their sex life awkward AF. LOL (≧∀≦)
You know, I would have liked this a LOT better if someone, ANYONE, had called Maria out on her toxic BS and the way she was constantly treating Jane. It was horrible, and everyone was aware of it and yet NO ONE stopped her. Not her husband, Leonides, who thought of Jane like his own daughter, not the two brothers, who considered themselves close enough friends to come back when they heard Jane was coming back, not Ianthe, who knew she was ruining a marriage (albeit against her will). Not even Demetri, who was her HUSBAND and should have been the FIRST ONE TO DEFEND HIS WIFE and tell his mother to CUT THE CRAP!
I am sorry, but she was WAY out of line.
I also dislike that Demetri didn't even THINK about taking Ianthe, and the pair pulling Jane aside to explain the situation BEFORE Ianthe started claiming the kid was Demetri's instead of admitting it was Yansi's. That would have been MUCH better than BLINDSIDING HER and then expecting her to NOT react like any normal human being would!
... I have a feeling that this may not end well for the guy that just forced a drunken kiss on a married man in front of said man's husband.... Yeah.... LOL
But somehow, I do not feel particularly annoyed with the classmate. Don't know why. Possibly because we know he likes someone else and is just misunderstanding things, or because the married couple are just so obviously in love with each other, but he just doesn't feel like a plausible and real threat to the relationship....
Same Im annoyed at him cause he is very childish. First he assumed the other guy likes his crush and was very rude from the start just because he made up a scenario in his head on his own. Like bruh you already in college and you still do that? Plus even if hypothetically that would have been true, still wont justify his rudeness
