It was a good story for the most part (although I HATE Andreas and Ariana), and I did like it. But at the same time, I am SO OVER this Harlequin-trope notion that the "plain" girls can ONLY find love once they have been MADE-OVER to look like models, celebrities, or goddesses. Very few let them remain unchanged and too many hinge on the ML seeing the make-over and suddenly falling in love. It is a bit frustrating.
WOW.... She really hit the jackpot with these brothers, didn't she? NOT! The younger one would have eventually left them in debt and ruin, even WITH his "allowance." Which, the fact that he assumed he could take off and still get an allowance is ridiculous. Did he honestly believe his ass of a brother would honestly keep sending him and his "gold-digging" wife (or so he chose to believe), money after Piero eventually passes?
And the older one is even worse. He says he "knew" she was meant for him from the moment he saw her, yet he treated her like trash. And keeping Selina for "revenge"? No. He did so for sex, and like he told Selina, his own ego. If it had been revenge, he wouldn't have spoiling her, as it were.
Both brothers are/were idiots and assholes who only think/thought about themselves. I don't think either of them even understand what it means to really, TRULY love anyone.
And this, dear readers, is why you don't play pull and push games when it comes to relationships.
The only thing, and I do mean the ONLY THING, I have as a complaint, is that she is lying in the hospital, about to give birth and HAS AN ABSOLUTELY FLAT STOMACH RIGHT BEFORE THE SECOND KID IS BORN! LOL I'm sorry. I know this is a great story, and I love all the things that everyone else has complimented already, but they couldn't have made it look like she had an at least half-way decent baby-bump at the end? LOL That just has me laughing WAY too hard.
