Wow... Seriously? Mom couldn't figure out ANY OTHER WAY to make it known to her son that he is supposed to marry someone else? No. She pulls the same stunt Li Yan tried pulling. I understand she is in a bad position, but that is just cruel of her. Especially in the presence of Luo Bo (even if he didn't actually see it). That just hurts. I was hoping she would be a supporter and not an interferer.

Sorry, but am I supposed to believe that he had a sudden "change of heart" right at the end? Because I don't. No way is someone who ignored his wife's pregnancy (and her as well) for its entirety, going to suddenly have an epiphany about how crummy he has been. And Sarah? She is both delusional, thinking he would one day fall in love with her, and has a serious martyr complex to put up with all that simply because she wants to "fix" him. I don't know just what all is different from the novels (one comment below suggest Sarah has more depth and background in the novel, while another states that Rome actually tries or at least thinks of trying to harm their child), but this basically reads like a How To guide for creating toxic relationships, while at the same time trying to tack on a sappy "happy" ending in the hopes that no one realizes how toxic this situation would be in real life.

I agree that the ML needs to work his ass off to get his beau after rejecting the poor guy twice, but I doubt that he will get rejected twice in return. If that were to happen, this would probably be "The Fifth Ending" instead of "The Third Ending." But I could be wrong, if they do the two rejections in a short period of time. But for now, I hope he gets either ignored, or just a cursory nod of acknowledgement.

I was laughing SO HARD at the ongoing, ever-evolving mix-up. Right up until I realized that with this, the aunts, uncles and cousins will learn the truth about Rourou and he and YiYun will no longer be safe from them.... Yeah........ But maybe with this, the ash-blonde aunt will realize her massive mistake and the fact that she did stole and had implanted, the wrong fertilized egg.

Just read them all in order and all loved them all. I like that the first wife didn't put up with the Secretary's BS and called her out on it, and that Alex LISTENED to his fiancee's concerns seriously, instead of writing them off as paranoia on her part. I also liked that when Rey found out about Rina, he didn't immediately go ballistic and took time to figure out what was really going on, using brains instead of just flying off the handle (like some characters in some books) and that Rina did try telling him the truth. And I loved that Mia did try to find Ben, but also protect her son and mother. All three women are strong, independent characters in their own right, who, while still vulnerable and with flaws, can also use their own strength to stand on their feet when necessary. And all three men are loving, caring and straight forward men who don't judge, don't jump to conclusions, listen, learn and RESPECT BOUNDRAIES (like Ben not paying off the hotel loan and Alex waiting until his wife was ready). ... By the GODS!!! Does this mean that I just read some Harlequin Romance "Novels" (i.e. manga based on novels), that actually had DECENT, LIKABLE characters with actual BRAINS, as well as HEALTHY, non-misogynistic and well-communicated relationships?!? ..... Excuse me a moment. I think I'm having a heart attack from surprise....

"A Ring for the Greek's Baby" is also a really good one! As is "Matched to a Billionaire, Happily Ever After, Inc." I am about to read the other two Happily Ever After, Inc. ones, so not sure if they are as good yet.
I really, should be putting these in a list, since there are SO FEW really good Harlequin's with fantastic characters and good storylines. So many have toxic characters with toxic relationships. I think I will do that. And then, you can check the list as I update it, for more of these types of stories.

Gee. I just "LOVE" how he turned "You MAY NOT be able to have kids" into "You are 100% sterile and will NEVER have kids" without so much as a by your leave. Cause they most definitely are NOT the same thing, as the first one (which was what he had been told), means that there IS STILL A CHANCE that he could father kids. But no. He just decided to take that, and a very open-ended letter that could have been referring to just about ANYTHING and equate them to "wife must be cheating" status. Yeah. MASSIVE idiot there.
OMG!!!! I was talking to someone else in another comment, and had to go back to check something in an earlier chapter and just realized! Yi Lan is the daughter of the MISTRESS of Bai Li's DAD!!! HE IS TRYING TO FORCE HIS WIFE TO MARRY THEIR SON OFF TO HIS MISTRESS' DAUGHTER!!!!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
You talk about LOW. In fact, I think we have officially hit a new all time low for the "Parents trying to marry off their children for political/business/financial/reputation/etc." trope.
Okay troops, it is most definitely time to get the BIG guns out, SILVER BULLETS AND ALL! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
