I feel like the editor is just pretending in an attempt to illicit a reaction from them to get them together. And if he is, MORE POWER TO HIM. Because, honestly, those two are beyond frustrating now. Especially as Nao (while he was drunk), seems to have quasi admitted he may like Yowu as more than a friend, and he thinks Yowu only thinks of him as family.
It makes it VERY HARD to sympathize with either of them. I want to yell at them "Either get together, or move on. BOTH OF YOU!"
I would say that at least Yowu is true to his word and trying to move on by moving out, but come on people. We have all read enough yaoi to know how this will turn out. Nao will realize he loves Yowu and some how, some way, before he moves or after he moves, they will end up together.
But if the author subverts the normal tropes and they DON'T (by some miracle of a chance) end up together, THEN I will be VERY surprised.

And NOW an ex-boyfriend is showing up, which is BOUND to (as another commenter put it), make things "awkward." ...

Okay. So I just did a mass read of these 23 chapters and putting all the stress of the bullying in both realities aside, I myself pondering quite a few things. Such as, did the Xu Yuan in this world go to the other Xu Yuan's world? Or did his suicide attempt work, killing him and leaving an opening that allowed the other Xu Yuan to be sucked into this world when that world's Yu Ziang wished they'd never met?
If Yu Ziang in this world, falls in love with Xu Yuan and wishes they had met earlier in life, will that propel Xu Yuan back to his original world?
And is there a possibility that the mystery hand is Xu Yuan's father? Will they be able to find his father and bring him back to his original world as well? If this world's Xu Yuan didn't go into the other Xu Yuan's world, does that mean that everyone in the original world thinks Xu Yuan disappeared? Or maybe, because of the different dates in each reality, he will go back to the same moment he left (give or take an hour or so). I would love it if we had more info on how this power of his works, and how he got it. Was it genetic or did his dad accidently cause it through one of his experiments?
The only thing I am positive of, is that I don't think he can use a "Hypothetical day" when a wish is currently ongoing (meaning he won't be able to use the wish/"hypothetical day" to get back to his own timeline/reality.
But yeah, this is definitely a fantastically written story so far. Please excuse me while I go drink some pickle juice to calm my nerves....
