since this is basically a spoiler thread... i read at the novelipdates forum that the concubine dies being ugly and all, then the king was ousted because even though he already knew that the concubine is evil, he still let him be. (The concubine and king are soulmates in their past lives, so the concubine wanted the child to be his replacement when he dies.. basically he will transfer to the child’s body. This is why the fl was transported to their world because the child is supposedly to have no soul, but the spell fucked up.) yes it’s all wack
The child is going to be the future king then the duke and magician will open a portal to the FL’s world. The FL will marry them both lolol For the queen, it is open ended but the FL assumes that the queen’s fate will go according to the book. (▰˘◡˘▰)

During this time, Ciel (along with Mio) raised the prince dutifully and he became the king. :v The queen dies before the prince turns 10, her fate is much better than the concubine and king. So even if she DID die, it was peaceful compared to the two and the people grew flowers in her palace in her memory.
The prince Mikhael. Michael? Whatever, the baby was the one crowned king NOT Ciel. There are epilogues in the novel that showed what happened to everyone.

I've been reading manga for about 13 years at this point. I've seen a lot in the community.
Usually, with shit like this, I'd just walk away. What bothers me is that people are calling the victim a crybaby, perpetuating the idea of victim-blaming.
There is also the issue that manga like this occasionally pushes the narrative that rape is good and the victim is to blame. This pushes rape and other violent acts like this in a positive light.
Manga like this can also make the readers start normalizing rape and other acts of violence along the same lines.
It is undeniable that we are shaped by the media we consume. If you consume media like this, then complain and insult the victim, then who's to say you won't act like this in real life. While we want to state that we won't, we can't be sure until we have faced with the situation ourselves.
There is also the fact that, if you are pretending to be nice, sometimes your face or your words can give you away without you even realizing it.
this all leads back to the main problem: Victim blaming.
What ticked me off was the victim-blaming and how toxic that is.
