I like this so far but something is just bothering me.
Like they say not to expect love from one another but the way they interact and the way their relationship is progressing isn't really realistic.
The author isn't really portraying the different stages of friendship.
Instead, they skipped over to the "we know each other know I'm lusting over you but not really because we're only friends" and it's really awkward to watch.
Like, I know they're supposed to become lovers but where is the growth in their relationship?? Where are the awkward we don't know each other yet scenes? Where is the slow fall into love? I don't see it
The writing surrounding their relationship feels a bit awkward, underdeveloped and clunky...
