I saw the ecchi tag since the beginning, so I wasn't put off by nudity or the over-sexualized female characters because it's very common in seinen mangas. However, the plot of the current arc seems to be driven by rape and twisted sexual fantasies. Like ok, the new virtual dead tube managed to gather a bunch of 30 yo virgins to play zombies and rape girls, but just because they're participating in this sick game they're willing to also TEAR THESE GIRLS APART??? What kind of male virgin trope is this??? More like a bunch of serial rapists/murderers/psychos.
Idk what the point is anymore, I was hoping the plot would go into the relationship between Machiya and Mashiro Mai, especially since the flashbacks make her past seems so intriguing. And maybe it can try to properly explain why she's so obsessed/devoted to Machiya, because I fail to see what makes him so special. He's the MC, I'm supposed to be rooting for him, and I was, especially during the arc where his sister was killed, but now, Idk what I'm supposed to be rooting him for.
And don't get me started on the ending of this arc. I've seen the raws. It made NO FUCKING SENSE! Yes, I cannot read Japanese, but I'm sure even when it gets translated, I STILL would not be able to see the logic.
