I finished reading the whole thing then went back to stare at the very first page where they are drawn with their backs to us, side by side, under the same umbrella. Absolutely overwhelmed with feelings. I advise everyone to take a long look at that drawing after you finish the story.

I know Makoto is a sweet heart and all....but he's definitely a Seme. Like if this was Omegaverse Makoto and Sousuke are both Alphas. Haru is Omega and Rin can be Omega Beta or Alpha.

Submissive does not equal to uke. Nor does being kind and sweet. It implies that the seme can only be the opposite. It's a bit hypocritical to say that muscly=seme is getting old yet you fall into the cliche of uke=sweet, innocent, lovable. A stereotypical uke. You can have preference for bottom Mako and that's fine.
But the fact that you want him with a more muscly guy=seme. Is the same thing as the old more muscly=seme less muscly=uke. If that trope is getting old, wouldn't it make more sense for Makoto to be with Haru who will be a smaller seme than Sousuke? Especially since he and Haru has a connection while canon!Sousuke and Makoto are barely interested with each other? Sousuke is more passionate and connected with Haru than Makoto.
Let's face facts, you want Makoto to be with Sousuke because he's smaller than Sousuke. Which makes it hypocritical of you.
Actually, when did I ever say I only wanted Mako to be uke with Sousuke? I said I preferred Mako was the uke. I don't care with who - Haru, Rei, Sousuke, anyone. I've always saw Makoto as an uke, no matter the pairing.
