I swear, even if they finally manage to progress from the "miai"-state-of-affairs, they already settled into the kind of bickering old couples do as daily routine. Back then when my cat was just a handful of cute kitten, she used to climb me like a tree and settle on my shoulder, which was hella cute.
But she got older and kind of didn't get the memo with "YOU'RE NO KITTEN ANYMORE; DAMN OUCH" - so she still climbed me like a tree (I am not) and settled on my shoulder (with no regard to surroundings, which gave me some kind of unique reputation back home - and calluses on my shoulders)
Just when I thought "I know this art-style somehow" - I do ^^
