I feel bad for the king. I really really really sympathise w him. Honestly I never hated him. Anyone who understands how trauma works and how attached you get to your saviour will understand the king's situation. I never considered him a villain and never will . He never meant harm to taehyuk.
And yes i understand trying to confine someone is not the right thing but when you stand in that person 's shoe, you really come to understand why they would want to keep that one person as near as possible. Heck that's what hyo-un did to taehyuk too(in the present timeline). Coz you're afraid that the one person you hold dear to you will go away and leave you behind, so you think confining them and providing them luxury within those walls is healthy. It's not. And the king never ever tried to hurt taehyuk ever. But i understand that. It's a very humane response. So i feel bad for the king. And want nothing bad for him at all.

Girls and my girlypops remember this is one of the major reasons why you should have a career of your own. Even if you are in a good relationship with a good partner, it doesn't mean you don't have to earn for yourself. Lest something like this should happen to you,where your partner is a sorry excuse of a person, an ugly piece of shit who hurts you emotionally or physically or ik any way, you don't have to rely on assholes like this ML to provide for you and your kids(if you have any), so that you can live your life on your own whim.

I can't believe I'm saying this but i actually like jooin here. He was always indecisive af but he knew what Cain needed. Cain needed to live this life as Cain and not a dog he was in the past life. Thanks to jooin, Cain has overcome the past he thought his entire identity was about. Good job jooin. And good for jooin too. Often times we see the MCs identity just being about who they end up with etc etc but jooin has emerged as someone who didn't tie his identity to any of the potential partners. Good for him and good for Cain and as much as I don't like yahwi I wish him well too. He behaved bad, day after day as a result of his trauma but that doesn't excuse his actions yet I hope he gets therapy and gets better. These last few chapters showed Jooin's growth way more than the entire story did and honestly I'm happy for him

I hope there's infinite side stories. Hope this never ends. I want to keep on reading this till I'm old and shriveled up and on my death bed. I love them sooo much.
