I think that Jin was right, that really was the old man (Brandon) but he got drugged into thinking he was with Mathew.
That last panel was wild

Yes!
In the chapter that precedes it, we see Jin sleeping with Mathew and then Jin somehow blinks and sees Brandon (and I think he calls out his name while he's having sex with Mathew)
So everyone got mad and confused at Jin's reaction
In the next chapter we see Mathew still having sex with Jin but by the end of the chapter we see Jin grab Mathew's hair and arm since he was trying to drug him with syringe .
Throughout the chapter it seems like Jin is still high but seems to be slowly getting his senses back as the chapter ends.
So I'm thinking that that short moment where he sad Brandon topping him was not a hallucination, I think that him sleeping with Mathew was the actual hallucination, and that Brandon probably drugged and raped him. Since the dream drug makes you see what you want to see, I'm assuming it might have made Jin see Mathew instead of Brandon, and Brandon probably kept on drugging him to keep on having sex with him.
I could be way off, maybe he really slept with Mathew and then someone came into the studio and tried to inject him with meds or something.
But I doubt it, I think it might be something else.

MAJOR OOP
But I think he called Brandon's name while sleeping with Mathew cause he was drugged out of his mind and I think that he kinda just got used to sleeping with Brandon everytime he got really high, so yeah maybe it's just a "reflex" now.
Or maybe it's cause he was in danger and suspected Brandon was behind it and once he got high, he thought Brandon was pouncing on him.
But tbh I wonder how Mathew will take it? Cause didn't he deny EVER sleeping with Brandon when Mathew asked him? I believe it was a few chapters ago and Jin had said that he had never been "like that" with Brandon.
I hope he wasn't lying cause omg that'd be a mess.
I'm also suspecting Brandon was tryna get Jin addicted to drugs so he could sleep with him and take advantage of him everytime he was out of his mind cause it seems to me Jin hardly ever wanted to be sexually or romantically involved with Brandon anytime he was sober. I think he saw him more as a hyung and business partner while Brandon saw Jin quite differently. Maybe he even got Jin into trouble as revenge for rejecting him or so that he would never make it and would have to depend on Brandon still. Would make sense since he showed signs of always wanting to isolate Jin and control him.

Was it rhe dream pill that he took?
Idk, if he took the same pill he used to be given by Brandon everytime he was depressed or stressed in the past, then it would make sense that he would see Brandon.
Cause I think Brandon used to drug him to have sex with him and I feel like Jin was in a stressful environment, was fed the drug (when he's with Mathew he usually takes it himself) and while he was high someone came onto him so he thought that was Brandon.
I think we still have to wait and see how he responds to his hallucination, he might as well push Mathew off of himself (thinking he's Brandon). So yeah I think we need to wait.

Your observations are just (☆▽☆)
That is true he did used to take drugs, they were red too so I think they were dream pills maybe?
And yeah i don't remember him clearly rejecting any relationship with brandon, he said something like what they wasn't something important.
Gotta wait, so many unanswered questions and we have little to no info on Brandon ( except the fact that he was hot when he was young lol).
They just got together and Matthew is quite possible and obsessive. Let's see if they communicate, like please god let there be a reason why he said someone else's name while doing the deed.... it looks bad but let's see

I am so here for them.
The Drama is so good.
I love Dochan but I'm also rooting for our friends gone enemies maybe gone lovers duo.
They're angsty and toxic. That's gonna make for great drama besties.
And the art is so good. Love this author.

True, all their interactions are so dramatic, I can’t deny it’s entertaining. They’re toxic so I’m still rooting for dochan, but more interactions between these two is definitely okay w me since it provides a bunch of drama lol.
Plus I can see a potential Joohyuk endgame working if it’s well written (which I’m sure the author could do), but even if that happens I’ll probably still prefer dochan

I mean we all want Dan to leave but did y'all forget how much money he owes JK?
Plus he gives him a real good salary and he currently really needs the money.
Sure he owes him a lot cause tbh JK did help in many ways and Dan is such a lovely person that he is loyal to someone who helped him sm but I'm sure money is also the bigger issue here. Plus Dan was blackballed from the industry because of that creepy senior doc he rejected long ago so I'm sure he's worried about finding another job and especially finding one that doesn't involve pervs coming at him and pays well enough.
So Idk I feel like there's a sense of financial security and somewhat safety that Dan is worried about losing here too PLUS his feelings for/ crush on JK of course.
I can kinda understand where Dan's character is coming from, though he's being mistreated and abused in some ways he feels protected in many other ways and he prolly feels less alone cause for once someone is there to support him and sometimes stand up for him.
Don't get me wrong I think JK has a whole lot of character dev to do and sucks so bad in so many ways. But we need to understand where Dan is coming from. He's kind, sure. But he's far from dumb imo and his feelings are valid. He's just confused by JK's actions plus he sees him all the time and he's spending his days with him and being intimate with him (+he's handsome) so yeah.no wonder he'd have these conflicting feelings.
It's unfortunate that they're not warming up to each other in the same way or same rate.
We'll have to wait and see.

Lmao this is giving discussion board post energy, but I completely agree with you. Dan has a lot going on in his life and even if it isn't nurturing, he's getting something from being with Joo. I have a feeling nana is going to kick the bucket soon too, which will leave him no one but JK. He just can't catch a break, poor guy

I read the fan translated novel and went really far into the story and couldn't finish it. It was so crazy.
During their first time, I believe he actually broke the guy's wrist in the novel and tho the manhwa makes him look wayyyy less terrible, it was so hard reading through their explicit scenes.
He abuses him over and over and R's him over and over, he even tears him at one point. Like there'll be hella blood.
This ML only gets worse and more obsessive and dangerous.
And the MC is generally attacked by crazy fans whenever he's not being assaulted by his partner.
Anyway, the art here iw beautiful but the ML does NOT get much better. I think becomes a little less violent cause he fears the MC leaving him or dying (basically doesn't want his fave pet gone). Other than that MC makes it clear that he hates sleeping with him EVERY SINGLE TIME, he's in pain and says no all the time. He even says he hates him and is staying cause he's scared of him. It just turns into full on Stockholm syndrom but with him being fully aware that this is dick and being too scared of leaving cause everybody he knows may end up getting killed. (Btw in the novel, I read he actually deca apitated and killed either one of two of the guys who he framed for attacking the actor that was bothering Inseob and I think two of those guys were brothers or sum)
Anyway, ML is a literal assasin. He spirals downhill as the story progresses and mind you we have no logical explanation for Inseob's stalking and obsession for the ML. There's no valid excuse for why he tried to "avenge" his mentally ill best friend. Like, to be fair, I don't see why any of that is ML's fault. They're both mentally not there but Inseob is waaaaay less dangerous than the ML. That guy is UNHINGED. Inseob took on way more than he could handle.

Yes, I think your description of it is totally on point.
I'd say just enjoy the art and stick around for the Rollercoaster, just don't ever expect this to be healthy or to get that much better. It can be somewhat realistic and tbh the manhwa is easier to digest than the novel (ps: Also hated how many times the author compares Inseop with children, I'm telling you, this story is hella creepy)

Idk if it really is "toned down", Philip assaults and kills people and R's and confines his love interest, they pretty much go toe to toe together lol. Philip is also a diagnosed ASPD patient and I think he ran away from the facility he was put in in the US? I also remember he committed some sort of crime so he can't return to the US. Man's literally a danger.

Oh no by toned down I mean the vibes of the scenes. Unlike KS, you can literally feel the dangerous and depressing air surrounding bum and sangwoo. So it's like you know what you are expecting to get in every chapter - more misery. This one, on the other hand, has many scenes with sparkly sparkly cutesy cutesy vibes, which gives it a lighter vibe, until the love interest suddenly commits murder. Honestly, that scene gave me whiplash. I wasn't expecting him to go that far.

Yeah, you're absolutely right! That's why I mentioned that the manhwa did a really really good job at adapting the original work into something more digestible. The novel absolutely gives you that feeling of dread everytime they interact (at least the fan translated version I read). If you care to spend some time on it, I suggest you read a few chapters, like from the moment things start getting sexual, it all goes south reaaaal quick.
Dochan is so bae but I'm still team Joohyuk, their chemistry remains unmatched.
Tho to clarify, I would still love Dochan as end game.
Same
Like, come on. They be looking so in love when they look at each other, they're in denial and Joohyuk needs to redeem himself.
I don't condone toxic shit in real life, but Joohyuk is a guilty pleasure
