While the long haired guide is annoying, he won't be a major antagonist at all. Most of the turmoil that MC and ML are going to experience stem from ML hiding things from MC and MC eventually running away. This other guide won't play any role in that. At some point, he becomes friendly with MC

Ian has done nothing wrong and Sol is a fucking dumbass through and through. Knowing that asshole blondie killed MC in his previous life, why would he not tell Ian the truth? His excuse of protecting Ian doesn't even work because the second blondie decides that MC cannot be his, he is the type to ruin the person he loves rather than let them go. So, he is putting Ian in more danger and that's not even considering the emotional distress that Ian has been experiencing because of this whole Brian thing. Sometimes, in these situations, both ML and MC are in the wrong, but in this story and in this particular situation, Sol is 100% in the wrong. Ian gave him multiple opportunities to come clean, and he never took them

Does the teacher have the memory of a gold fish (maybe even worse since the gold fish thing is mostly a myth)?...did he think thinks was vacation? It's a post apocalyptic world where his first meeting with ML was while ML was literally strutting around and pondering OUT LOUD WHILE MC HEARD him whether he should save MC or let him kick the bucket. MC got horny for the guy who was ready to let him die for funsies a few days ago.
It wasn't a situation where ML thought "saving him might delay my escape and while I'M sorry for him, my safety comes first"....no no no he was just fucking around and MC heard and saw that. Then, as soon as he arrives, people warn him to not even tell ML that he isn't super useful. Every possible sign was there but MC was like "nope I'm going to think with my lower half and then make a surprise pikatchu face when the guy is 100% consistent and has been the same all the way through"

In love with your comment.
I think we are forgetting the context where they are happily fking like there is no tomorrow, but it is a dangerous situation and of course if you are part of a community there are rules you must follow.
Walking dead taught some of us this in a very harsh way. And of course, videogames :D

It feels like the end is near and I'm looking forward to the bitch's comeuppance. I understand that her old family was brainwashed to some degree, but, some things cannot be undone. Them dying is the best outcome considering that even if they came out of the brainwashing, they would never live normal lives since they tortured and killed their own family member and fucked over their nation and people by leading them to this nonsence war. There is no good ending for them

but that is unfair to them. Don't get me wrong, I'm annoyed with them, but this is what's wrong with this type of story that relies on the brainwashing plot device, because for all intents and purposes, her family is completely innocent, so why should they suffer? They loved and cherishes MC so much then this crazy ass bitch came and brainwashed them to think that she is MC or whatever bullshit. So, nothing that they did was of their own volition. Should they be punished? I think that their death is mercy because what they did cannot be undone and at the same time, they don't deserve to be punished since they were victims as well

I was looking for this comment! I just came from chapter 66. There was a chapter where she dreamed of the past. A tea party where she invited everyone, they were so harmonious, and loves Alisa but they ignored Marianne. Then Marriane just went ahead and said, 'I want to be you,' which is why she made a contract with a spirit and started brainwashing everyone?

Sigh....this isn't by any means the most awful story I've ever read but it's frustrating because it could've been so much better. While I get that maybe the author wad going for a realistic seme by not having him do a 180 in this new life but he could've had him change a little in a realistic way. He remembered his past life from the get go and had regrets....maybe he didn't fully regret his actions but he regretted the outcome in which he literally had to kill the only person a selfish prick like him loved.
You'd think that even if he is a self centered imbecile, he would hide it a little and even pretend to not be as overbearing as his past life.
Also, the story makes the whole karma thing seem silly. I'm an agnostic atheist myself so the whole concept of a powerful God punishing you in your next life seems silly to me. But this story set that premise from the start with the seme getting nightmares in which that god-like creature tells him he is reaping what he sowed and that he will suffer blablabla....then, his suffering was him being reincarnated as a privileged rich fuck and being separated from MC for like a few months. Oh no! Fear the wrath of the mighty God who punishes you for killing multiple individuals snd ruining countless peoples lives by experiencing the angst that a teenager experiences when they fall in love for the first time. Wowsers
I wonder if this story is like sadness porn. You know how some girlies put on Lana del Rey music and romanticise toxicity and all that? I haven't fully fleshed out my opinion on the topic but reading this feels off especially with the gorgeous art, awful title, garbage ML, weak MC who shows a glimpse of strength only to crumble later on and for her breakdown to be witnessed by ML who gets a hard on from seeing her miserable.....all of it feels disgusting.
I just hope they no teen reads this and thinks this shit is romantic. Others might say I'm being dramatic but you'd be surprised at how our views are shaped during our formative years by what we consume. I knew many young girls, now adult women, who are struggling in their relationships and still have views formed by their Wattpad reading years
