This story is a neverending stream of frustration. Basically this is the loop that it keeps repeating:
- Bitch plans against the MC
- MC wins
- No one learns anything and bitch still comes after the MC
- Some guy/woman is supposed to be a genius yet gets duped into going against the MC
- MC gets rescued by the male main character
- REPEAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND FUCKING OVER UNTIL THE END OF TIME !
This story has 0 character growth and it's past its 100 chapter milestone. I've given up on it but I'm just leaving this review so that if anyone wants to have an honest opinion of this before reading, they can get the general gist of it and be warned because I wish someone warned me so I wouldn't spend an eternity reading this waiting for some development yet never getting anything
Since I liked it so much in the beginning I keep hoping this loop would stop. This last group of chapters was the final nail in the coffin. I’m seeing this happen too much. I refuse to get pulled in, spend my time just to have the author screw me over with this lazy BS! If you have writer’s block, take a freaking hiatus, but don’t insult your readers with this copy and paste repeated scene OVER and OVER! I’ve started to keep a list of authors who do this and will NEVER waste my time on any cr** they write again. To those who persevere, good luck, I admire your patience.
It has been a while since I read the first chapters of this so if I'm missing something in my comment below, please do rectify it but here it goes:
I love this webtoon but now that I think about it, my biggest gripe with it is the magic thing. It was glossed over and only the 2 princes have that power. It is never explained if the king had it and they somehow inherited it and is it only his ? Do other kings of other countries have powers ? I just find it a major thing to just gloss over and just use it casually when it is convenient for the plot and never mention it again or explain it in details.... It was very prominent when the crown prince went to save Elise as well...
I could do without the magic in this if I'm being honest
On one hand, I hate the guy because he was judgemental and humiliated and shamed her upon their first meeting....
On the other hand, they did send him wrong portraits which is cheating and she also didn't do herself any service by smelling bad and acting like a cliché villainess and all that cringey laughing is just GUH !
So I don't know how to feel about the prospect of a future romance between the two. At least, he didn't ditch her after she had been faithful to him for years all for the sake of a newbie bitch like most stories with a dumbass princess and broken engagements so there's that.
I know this is not completely fair to her but she kind of pisses me off. I think it's unfair because we haven't completely seen her reasoning for doing what she is doing but I think running away is never okay.
She doesn't want to become a knight and knows her brother wouldn't become a good duke (at least not as good as her) and knows she won't make a good knight. So people will definitely not get the best choice of ruler if her brother inherits the role and she doesn't.
Again, she might have a very compelling reason that makes her brother a better choice even for the sake of the people but for now, she is getting on my nerves. I wish I felt differently because she far from being the worst female MC ever but I don't
Honestly, I wish this didn't exist. I love the manga and 3 anime seasons but the way this ended with Kagami leaving is the worst. I know in real life that happens and everyone should look to get to the best place to improve themselves and all that stuff but I don't read a manga about supernatural moves, sharingan eyes and unlocking god like powers to see realistic stuff. Reality is depressing which is why I read manga. I don't need this to give me depression as well
maybe because some people thought it's possible to have extra chapters and a sequel after the manga so to clearly tell people "this is done, there"ll be no more of this story" they made it clearer in the anime (?). Or it could be simply because they wanted to hit a certain length for the movie and just chose to add that scene...
This has just become way too silly, creepy and stupid...I'm used to some foolishness in Historical Chinese dramas but this goes beyond that. She acts so unnaturally sometimes like when the guy got taken away ... and then there is fault in the plot itself like with this baby thing. I've seen other interpretations that show him just as a vegetable. It's better than some grown-ass woman chasing a kid, grabbing him in a suspicious way and telling him she'll eat him. The fuck?
That's not what I mean at all. I wouldn't mind a cold character but she is creepy and weird. The way she acts with the child is just ugh
The story is also all over the place and there are so many inconsistencies. I've read silly childish shojo that had better plot than this.
I would rather this webtoon follows the usual "go to an academy" or " join a sect" route than all this bullshit that has no fluidity to it.
It's like there is a new author for each chapter and the author is just told the ending scene from the previous chapter and they roll with it
When she 1st came to that world she was on trial for her life with unreliable memories. Her understanding of this new world is the strong eat the weak so she trying to get stronger while prioritizing her own life how can you not see that? She's using her 21 century knowledge to make up her lack of psychic power and she's doin quiet well too but your minds made up already talking useless.
Suha is bit annoying sometimes. I don't shame people for having physical relationships with no strings attached but when you're that oblivious and your partner obviously doesn't sleep with you with the same intention it feels like Suha is being too cruel. Whenever things are about to get serious he runs away yet he gets pulled right back in...there is no way he never noticed his partner's feelings but his lust overpowers his reason. If he has no way of ever reciprocating his partner's feelings then he should be more firm and stop giving him mixed vibes
Yep, I agree... Even if we say the seme was abusing his power in order to get him to sleep with him again an x number of times after their one night stand, it was Suha who accepted it whole-heartedly enough for it to become a full blown "permanent" sexual relationship. So him acting now like the seme's dating choices have nothing to do with him sounds a bit too cynical, considering the way he actually agreed to the risky business of a *permanent* sexual relationship with someone he is working so close with, being practically the two alone together, for long hours of every single day...

I think I'm a bit weak against lonely people and people who claim they're you're destined partner and that they've been waiting for you.
Don't get me wrong, I despise the bullshit about fate and I hate it when people say they're predestined because I sure as fuck don't want some gods to determine my fate so I'm not impressed by the concept but by the person. If someone thinks they'll fill their loneliness and the hole inside their hearts with my existence, I'd be so weak to that declaration that I'd do everythging to be with them and not even in a romantic way...I mean if someone can fill their loneliness by being my friend or something, I'd feel the same...
I went off on a tangent there to get to this point: If I were the author, I'd make hr end up with the dragon guy and not the prince.
honestly same though
