From a storytelling standpoint it would've made more sense for him to live with the consequences.
He's made stupid decisions left and right and hasn't REALLY suffered for it.

Yes I can understand the reasoning behind MCs decisions. That's not my gripe. I'd probably make the same choices because who tf wanna stay with a mf who smashed their finger with a hammer and SA'd them?

Yep MC got his fingers back, but do you think he just going to forget the pain as they was cut off when he was awake? He clearly got a mental breakdown and a trauma.
I think his caracter is week... He supposed to be a Raven, who moving between life and death, he couldve be a power bottom, instead we got a bottom, who having serverly depression from the beginning, don't know how to protect himself, and don't even know what is him and now some other trauma. He is just ridiculously, week he living in a shitty place but he doesn't even know how to punch and kik somebody.... The power dinamic is none existent between them. ML cleary wanna use MC for his own goal (who knows what is it), and keep him in the dark so he doesn't know what is he and doesn't learn how to use his own power (most probably he can curse people). Plus he is clearly a sadist, love to see him in misery. From what I understand from the latest chapters they meat each other when MC was a child and both of them forgot it. So it'dls serms tobe a tipical trope. I guess when ML finally remember, he regret how he treated him or just begin treat him better, but uke is too broke mentally, then he roll a bit, uke getting kidnapped or run away, ML nearly die and uke forgive everything.
When did he even have the opportunity to do hypno therapy shit on brothers BF? I dropped this and skimmed the chapters I missed but I don't think he would've had the time to do all that right?
They did have a mysterious hangout in chapter 21.
