He’s not mad that he killed them per se, but because now they won’t be able to find the other victims. Though knowing it’s a story they probably will but with a bit more difficulty.
I’m guessing he wanted to question them, then kill them. But I also feel like his emotions were also heightened because of his trauma.

At least in the novel, I feel they are not really treated as a second couple. They just show one or two scenes of Asmil and Asdion together to set why Asdion feels jealous of Sol and give some "motives" for some bad things he does to our baby in the future.
