Main couple is cute and has issues fr but side couple? mermaid is 19 and teacher is like 24

The fish guy is mature he can't talk cus he's been in the ocean for a long time so he doesn't know how to communicate in human language.
and I don't really understand what ur saying (no offence I genuinely didn't understand this one comment) do u mean if the other guy wasn't a teacher it will be normal for them to be in a relationship cus the age difference is normal or what?

no? I said it's the maturity difference? we can have different opinions but this is a damn fact. The teacher is a grown 24 year old man and the mermaid hasn't even reach the age where 1 isn't the first number in it. Am I saying this can't happen. no? am I saying the teachers a fucking nonce though? yes.

Same thought. 19 and 24 was the age my grandparents met (and married) and it really was a "til death do us part" for them. My granny still misses him over 10 years later :(
So yea.. I don't think infantilizing 19 y/o will do any good. And 24 is also still an age where you are an uni student or do an apprenticeship etc. Realistically it's really not that big of a deal

"What I'm on there" way to be rude no I gen remember him only as the school nurse dude. Like he is in the nurse office, as his own, he comes to the trip as the schools nurse too iirc.
And *could* is a big word here. The gap isn't even big nor problematic at all. Like that's the last of issue. Damn it's just a story jfc

So you’re saying it’s weird because he could be his teacher that’s a hypothetical thing he’s not a teacher he’s a nurse and he’s not his student. Also he’s mature and he just can’t communicate. Has nothing to do with maturity. Also 24 is not that much older than 19 most 24-year-olds aren’t even “mature” I can see if the Merman was 17 or 16 He’s not even 18 he’s 19 years And will be turning 20 at some point
In an actual real life situation if he was an actual teacher, and that was his 19-year-old student, it would be inappropriate because of the position of power In the structure in the relationship being an authority figure
But that is not the case here and this is fictional

fine then I'll be simple. this mermaid iss a 19 he is still developing his frontal lobe the part of your brain that has a massive role in your decision making and common sense. Now he gets with a guy who already has that shit developed or is near to having it developed. think of the difference in the understanding of making decisive mature decisions between the both of them and the difference in just their level headness

I’m not saying I don’t understand where you’re coming from And technically, you are not wrong But what you’re forgetting is this is a manga about humans with animal characteristics fictional fantasy They don’t have frontal lobes so he’s only about as mature as the author makes him. And inside the author makes him mature He just can’t communicate in their language
We can’t add realistic knowledge, or hypotheticals to a story, but have to go off of the facts based off of how the author wrote the characters
Morally it might feel wrong legally the character is 19 years, old and way past the age of consent
It’s also a manga about beast men

inhyuk is a simp but he has common fuskcing sense. he knows the dumbass bitch Jiwoon or whatever he's called is pretending to act a certain way for sejin to like him. even if inhyuk has a crush on the mc he's still trying to look out for him. Sejin however... he still has a crush on inhyuk there iw no fucking way he doesn't

Well, it’s wtvr. The story took a turn for me after MC was somehow portrayed to be dumb enough to believe sleeping with someone doesn’t mean he’s cheating on his boyfriend while Inhyuk who is portraying himself as this perfect optional boyfriend took advantage of his so-called friend’s stupidity to get him to have sex with him. Both MLs are trash, and the MC was barely likable up to that point. Hence why I dropped it.

You could see the fear flashing in the MC eyes for Just a moment and it's the way I screamed "RUN" but we all know damn well that's not gonna happen. plus I feel as if this is one step away from being yandere love and if the author ever continues I hope they stop this miscommunication trope before we really see how much of a red flag ml can be.
I haven't even read it, I say I will then I stop at like chapter 13 and go on with my dag forgetting the plot entirely
