It honestly annoys me that though this is dramatised stuff like this happens. Like you love a celebrity they create music or movies you love and bring you joy and then because of the fans and the trashy reporters they are denied the chance to live the way they want to live. Don't get me wrong I love this but do you know what annoys me in these kinda things? When they're all like I loved you for years but you know I still went and dated (or slept with. Not in this one but in other manga) a bunch of other people.
Ok first of all, he never dated anyone (I mean he has a fear of women of God's sake!) he barely even let's them touch him, they assumed they were dating and he never bothered to correct them. And second of all, he never made a move on her because he was afraid that she would remember everything, so he was just content with her being by his side as his secretary.

Okay, doesn't apply here, but I get what you mean with "I've always loved you, but slept with so many people cause I'm a slut." thing. I agree it is unromantic, but it is realistic. It is possible to hold someone as number one in your heart and because you can't be with them just safely lock those feelings away and try to be happy without them. Personally I'm demisexual so I can't have sex without strong emotional attachment, but that doesn't apply to everyone - though sex without emotional attachment even done by others really grosses me out so much I get nauseous just thinking about it - . My point is, I also feel cheated when a character claims to have loved someone for so long but dated others, but it is completely realistic to try and have normal human relations and get rid of sexual frustration and try to fall in love and forget that love that you believe will bear no fruit, but just because you convinced yourself you're over them and date others only to have your resolve crumble and realize you still love them - IN SHORT : Such stories that you speak of might want to convey the difficulties of trying and failing to forget an unrequited love and also the psychological aspects of lying to yourself about your feelings only to find out the truth later when you meet that person again or they do something to crumble the armour of lies you clad yourself in. OR am I wrong, what do you feel?
Wow you've got some interesting points. I think maybe it annoys me because they seem to think its ok for them to sleep around but they expect the one they love to be a virgin?? Its like in that kissing booth movie (argh) (random I know but its a good example) were he's keeping all the guys away from her but he's going around sleeping with every second girl he walks passed you know? I'm not a fan of people sleeping around but maybe it wouldn't annoy me so much if it was equal? Or they didn't glamourise it and make it seem like the more people you do the do (like my super cool way of saying f*cked?) with the cooler you are? Or maybe its just cause it seems disingenuous to be sleeping around and say that you've loved one person the whole time. I dunno it feels almost like cheating even though its not. That makes no sense, in your original post you said "in these things" as in you are grouping this manga with the situation you are talking about. So if that wasn't your intention then you should word yourself better, or else of course, us, the readers will first correct you before giving you an input.
