sometimes y’all forget that the isekai setting takes place in an era where women couldn’t do shit. since we always focus on nobles, the women sometimes get educated but you want her to run away? in a world she doesn’t know, with people she doesn’t actually know either? and then what? there’s no career path she could follow as an unmarried young woman with no family. these manhwas serve as a sort of escapism but this plot feels realer in the mcs mindset of it. y’all are bothered that she isn’t suddenly adapting like she hasn’t become a whole new person. why would she not want to return home when it’s familiar and comfortable and safe unlike where she is now.

i can understand why marilyn came to like lara. when you read about a plot of a romance story you aren’t really delving into the friendships. if lara has only ever shown kindness and has been genuinely caring then why should marilyn hate her?

lattes being so patient! i’d say it’s from her past experience as a teacher and knowing that ibelin already was the main character of the story. as for ibelin, i don’t blame her for throwing a tantrum since she doesn’t know any better but i hope she can grow from this.

also to the people acting like slut shaming her is totally fine, why do you think it’s ok to slut shame. women have the rights to their own bodies and as long as it’s not harming anyone you can’t judge. if she had not followed him and wandered off into the woods whose to say she wouldn’t have been eaten, raped or taken as a sex slave. she was taking advantage of her strengths to survive and using it on a person who she knows won’t do her harm in completely different from being prostituted. y’all talk a lot of ‘i would have’ or ‘ i could have’ but the reality is that she would have been dead and i highly doubt she’ll come across a kind soul in the middle of zombie infested areas. everyone is trying to survive but even those kidnappers who had her tied up we’re willing to take advantage of her.

she mentioned that she had been in this world for a week with nothing to eat, saw people get devoured by these zombie like creatures and then got kidnapped by criminals who were going to rape her. i’d say running after your only source of survival is the smartest choice when you
a) don’t know the area
b) don’t speak the language
c) have nothing to defend yourself with
ML has the blue flame and unless she wants to die, she has to use whatever means necessary to keep on going. put yourself in her position because i highly doubt that ‘morals’ matter in a life or death situation

i don’t know about y’all but that man gave keira 18 years worth of trauma from neglecting her to then killing her. i just don’t like his nasty ass.

the dad is still a piece of shit though. never showed an ounce of love towards keira and killed her off only to realize it was a mistake when the empire crumbled. he can fuck off to hell for all i care.
