I believe theres a double standard with how people treated the ML in the first season to the FL in the second season. Obviously both are demons that feed off of sex but the ML in the first season actively had sex with the confused FL but the FL for this season keeps it all in dreams. You can’t be acting conservative while actively reading a smut manhwa and get surprised at a literal succubus only wanting to have sex cause it’s her food... like isn’t that manhwa you chose to read??? it’s literally in the title Sweet Dreams.

i like how the manhwa is taking its time to discuss dynamics in a couple. nine may be a hit too over protective but i know he will come to fully trust that melissas plan can go well and that she can take care of herself. worrying for your partner is fine but both sides should have faith,

ok i read the whole thing and loved it. this was a great manhwa and the writer did a phenomenal job developing the characters. at the end of it all i adore seol and love her relationship with jung because it’s realistic. i liked inho but i wouldn’t want him as ML since he and seol have different goals and plans for their lives. i’m happy he and his sister have started to move on.
10/10 would recommend
personally i don’t think ella ever actually lived or cared for labor but was obsessed with the idea of her fated love. post partum depression is real but ella seems to hold no affection for her children or interest in what they do. she only wants to monopolize on kahirs and live according to a story. she even resorted to abuse and that just wasn’t right. she only viewed the people around as objects and that’s why she failed.
this second chance is also being wasted when you know he’s not into you. if you love someone you prioritize their happiness and not try to keep them for yourself.
i was confused as to how a 26 year old man couldn’t be aware of his own feelings but then i reread the whole manhwa again
so the duke grew up thinking that he’d be cursed to turn into a beast by the time he turned 20 and was not exposed to a normal childhood. then turned into a beast after 5 years of working as the duke. he was only freed one year later by FL and still retains feelings he has while transformed.
it’s a safe bet to assume he’s emotionally stunted in terms of romance but i’m happy he apologized and tries to communicate with her. i don’t fault the FL lead for not initially getting close since she has her own situation to deal with but i can’t wait to see how their relationship develops.
this is pretty fvcked up when you think about how she’s a kid and he’s fully grown adult inhibiting her from achieving independence away from him. in raise wa tanin ga ii the FL knows the ML sleeps around and they’re the same age so the dynamic does not feel uncomfortable like this one where she really is an innocent minor being controlled by her bodyguard.

FL doesnt even like ML in raise wa tanin ga ii, so its even better LOL!!! although with this ML, I dont think he even says her romantically (yet) more like obsession and he attaches himself to her since she's the first person to show him kindness which is totally unfair for her

apparently the ogFL did get her happy ending in her past life but was obsessive and only wanted ML to live her. she was even jealous of her children for receiving the MLs love.

all this discourse on which man is hotter but i haven’t seen anyone appreciate how much of a well written character roxanna is. in most other manhwas female characters are expected to uphold traditionally feminine values and be a self sacrificial type. that’s fine it they have their own set of goals and motivations but if they have a “villainous” or terrible family they are almost always expected to try and appease them while simultaneously being this beacon of light and hope. the character in itself is supposed to heal the male characters around her. in roxannas case she joins in on the evil her family does and is inherently selfish with how she acts which i find refreshing.
young roxanna was naive and thought that by just laying low she and her mother and brother could survive. in reality to beat the agriches she had to join them and plot and become even more terrible than they are. i like that her goal to survive isn’t just to sit still and look pretty but to plot and scheme and use the people around her as pawns. she’s a proper villain and even more manipulative than the rest of her family since she can understand human emotions. even past roxanna tore down her family slowly for what they put her through by manipulating those around her and i find that very powerful.
