Even though they themselves were excited about it? Like where is that huge part of the plot?
Sorry but daniel isn’t for me. He looks like he is always hiding something and will do bad things but not in a mysterious mischievous way but more like actual crimes kinda way. He just doesn’t seem genuine at all. I prefer eugene or the black haired guy who actually care for her and not scheme anything behind her back. I really don’t understand why it can’t be eugene? They have chemistry, they care about each other, they like each other, they had that cute banter going on. I have no idea what the mc and daniel will talk about when they don’t have anything to focus on outside. Like a beauty contest...

If you want to read a “normal” yaoi manga, this isn’t for you. There is no smut that might interest you and hell there isn’t even a little kiss. Because this wasn’t written to just be any other yaoi manga. Be it the amazing art and details or the actual story, this is more real than any random yaoi (that for some reason has rape in it bc nowadays nearly all of them do) that you might read. Bc they were in somewhat of a war and life is unpredictable. We dont know if Dawa’s monastery got raided by chinese soldiers and got taken away and we dont know if tuluk and dolje got captured while trying to run away but we do know that they never met and that is life and that’s why I liked this story. Sure it’s nice to read a story with a happy fulfilling ending but it’s also nice to read a story that makes u want to cry and ask questions
