If the person you like is in a happy relationship and you’re still set on confessing your feelings for them, you don’t actually like them. You’re putting them in an uncomfortable position, in which they’ll most likely feel bad for rejecting you and depending on their partner and relationship, it might bring problems in there as well. That’s a very selfish thing to do.
