Idk if it’s an adhd kinda thing, but does it ever happen to y’all that a word or phrase triggers something in your brain and you kinda start singing a song or quote a meme that reminds you of it? Well, as soon as I saw “mooo ♡” I instantly thought of the dude (Mark? Matthew??) playing with that ig filter of the cow (the one in which you have to moo in a certain note to pass some obstacles) and that’s all I could think about the whole fucking chapter

Dude had to have his reasons for leaving and by the looks of it, he didn’t want to leave.
In my extremely rational brain, dude most likely was living in korea illegally, had no insurance/the healthcare in the village or in the surrounding areas was too expensive and/or really old to either diagnose him and/or treat him so he had no choice but to go back.
I called it in the last chapter. The guy went back for treatment and knowing the American healthcare system, was most likely working his butt to pay off his debts and return to Korea. He's lucky it only took 35yrs
Imo the slap isn’t a red flag. It’s like out of straight panic and then he hugged him and felt bad cuz of it.
It would be a red flag if the slap was unprovoked and he didn’t apologize afterwards, which isn’t the case here.

Despite not being the start of the redemption arc I had in mind, watching Jaekyung walking on eggshells is quite funny and satisfying (I still need that at some point he cries and begs on his knees for forgiveness)
I hope they both die, and that this takes the reincarnation route and love each other very much in the present
