this chapter clearly occurs after the christmas specials before he tian has fully returned and when mo is in his old apartment. so it is to be assumed he tian sees mo when he can. i can see mo not being as indifferent to his presence the first time he tian returned after those 4/5 years - he was most likely indescribably angry and hurt. mo probably hates he tian for walking back into his life and leaving again even if it is not permanently. so he refuses to trust him again knowing he tian wont stay. but his true feelings are revealed when he is drunk he becomes affectionate - because deep down he wants to be. he is unable to cope with the love he feels for he tian so he attempts to push it out of his mind or hide physical reminders taped up in that box. when in his drunken state mo thinks he is dreaming he tian tells him he is because he won’t be there in the morning. UGH. does this also mean mo regularly dreams about he tian?? just end my misery!!

i think their makeup "convo" if it can even be called a convo ._. is reasonable if yoogon's deep trauma is considered. it just feels questionable cause we still don't know what exactly his trauma is... i have my suspicions it's some sort of sexual trauma which makes sense why he's in sex work and why he has that sexual confident cocky attitude. it's his way of feeling in control.

and if he experienced it when he was young and kept it in for so long all while the people around him shame him for his coping mechanism, i can understand how he's gotten so closed off.

so junghae acknowledging that yoogon has deep issues that he doesn't want to talk about, and not forcing him to talk, but still being there for him... i think it's really validating and comforting for yoogon who's been deprived of that.

i think junghae has finally realised yoogon still doesn't see him as someone to trust or rely on, and him fighting yoogon on his profession/coping mechanism worsened that. so he's staying, not pushing, until yoogon can trust and open up fully to him. which is a very mature and reasonable decision when you're in a rs with deeply traumatised people, even if it might seem like he's the only one "putting in work" into the rs.

I love this series so far but…I dread the upcoming chapters because of that abuser trying to mess with him again, I’m so worried and I hope eunsung protects him
