I just also wanna say to people hating taesung here because of the abuse and trauma he caused.. your feelings are all valid ya'll but you also have to think about the way he was brought up.. the people he had no choice but to grow up following.. his environment.. this kid at least grew up with a little bit of humanity left in him to pity his abused mother on the club, free his only safe confidant uncle from the gang, and decide to free his lover he was so inlove and obsessed with. Other psychos dont do that yall. They didnt even think of a way to change themselves and be better. He was really violent and it was crazy scary.. it'd be a lot worse if he had a woman for a partner. We probably wouldnt be able to handle all that. The point here is.. even though all that happened, maybe because of the small good he had left in him, he was rewarded in his tragic life. His lover actually chose and decided to come back and be with him.. and that saved him. Lets all be happy and celebrate that this couple at least had a good ending. He is toxic but its also toxic to keep on blaming someone for his actions when he was actually needing salvation and not purging. Returning violent reaction to a voilent reaction never ends well.. the same can be said in whatever case or scenario. He was bad but was understood and forgiven so he turned a new leaf and found his safe place. This was only possible tho because he was willing to change. Always remember, in facing these types of people, if they dont show any remorse for their wrong doing or they dont show signs of being better.. one or two attempts to understand and forgive is fine.. if it happens often then pack your bags and leave. Really.. i think i just became a therapist here HAHAHAHA anywayss thats all i wanna say. Lets be happy it didnt turn for the worse (づ￣ ³￣)づ

People hating on TS??? When he literally cared the most about him the entire time. Never wanted SY to get hurt and made anyone who hurt him PAY. He even tried to distance HIMSELF because he wanted SY to be happy and thought he would ruin it. Like wtf are readers hating? The premise and environment and mood of the story has been the same this entire time, yet people complain about it?? Huh????

I was interested on the manga and looked for the volumes in Sukima. It's still ongoing, but the fourth volume has a nice cliffhanger.

I just used papago, and the last scenes were Yamadera jumping off a building, looking hopeless. Sayo saved him and said to not let go of his hand. Yamadera holds his hand tightly, thinking that Sayo might be the one, but then Mei (the woman vampire) appears. She was happy upon seeing Sayo, and saying that she was happy seing his beloved once again and then she kissed him (but there's some changes to Sayo's eyes that me thinks he's being hypnotized by Mei). But Yamadera was slowly losing his grip. He was pleading to Sayo to not let go of his hand.

Yamada: "The hand that held me just let go."
"As usual I'm falling to the bottom of the earth."

Ya-chan is definitely better than Kashima *eye roll* because it's not toxic at all to yell constantly at the one you're supposed to be in love with. Like toono looked sick he tried so freaking hard only to get yelled at for doing his best. Kashima x toono forever man at least he doesn't treat him like he's a problem. （￣へ￣）

Honestly, this used to be such an amazing manga. It has dynamic characters with an interesting concept that centres around dancing. The art is fabulous too. But then it got into a pretty long hiatus after their "break up" cliffhanger. Well, technically they aren't officially together but it feels like it nonetheless.

But now, catching up with the new volume...just somehow...the spark of the manga seem to dim for me. Dancing aspect was still great but I honestly think separating them just to create a sort of 'angst' was pretty unnecessary. Imagine how amazing it would be for them to actually solve their problems together and be that fucking power couple. But no, of course dude gotta have a sex with this norman dude who is actually hetero?? just so he could physically 'replace' the person he truly love. Is it really necessary??? Instead of seeing useless sex, we could have countless smexy scenes between both Shinyas. Oh well, at least they're finally reuniting at the end of this volume. I'm just frustrated I guess because this used to be one of my faves but I feel like the author somehow got lost in plot somewhere in the middles and now I'm just looking forward to see how the main characters will officially be together.

Okay, to everyone who is confuse at the weird direction this manga is going to: this manga was a yaoi manga AT FIRST (like legit guy x guy with the bed scenes). This is an old manga, a lot of us older readers were happy back then because we finally got a good SPORTS BL manga - think of Haikyuu but with romance and the main pair are two guys! That's how good it is and how happy it made us fujoshis. BUT THEN, oh my god - but then it went into a hiatus, and then one day it came back and we found out that it got transfered into a JOSEI magazine (manga magazine for older women, like more mature romance stories, usually straight couple romance, bed scenes are okay, but no male x male bedscenes but I think ones where it doesn't show is okay?). We were all like wtf? Why? Was the sports aspect too good that they thought it'll be a waste as a BL?? Did the mangaka always wanted to do a sports manga?? Why did she started this as a BL then?? Why, just why??

So yeah, I think the translation team back then dropped this because it's no longer yaoi, we weren't even sure if it was still BL. I dropped it too. I noticed an update today so I checked the comments first if this miracilously went back to the yaoi genre, but looks like it hasn't. It was so good too, the sports aspect and the romance aspect combined. But then they have to destroy it. （/TДT)/

This is still a good story. The characters and the progression is just as well written as I remembered it when I first started reading this.


HOWEVER, the unnecessary sex was a huge turn off. The reasoning behind it, made absolutely no sense. There was already enough angst and tension in this story. It didn't help develop their characters whatsoever and it was not necessary to move the story forward. there was a loooot of stuff happening already.

Also, to have sex with someone else because you can't have sex with the one you "love"? I mean, come on, that's one shitty excuse if I see one.

But of course, that issue will def be pushed to the side because it was really not necessary in the first place.

it’s one of my favourite romances ever (if not my absolute favourite). There’s so much care for the plot and the complexity of professional ballroom dancing, attention to the intensity of competition, and emotional tensions. It feels so much more than a romance as it developed, the characters are multifaceted and actually feel like people - their goals and aspirations come through instead of just being about the relationship, which I like. I wasn’t big on the art at first until it started to really grow on me, I have to appreciate how good the settings/backgrounds are. The characters are so expressive too, and they’re pretty visually unique; I’m a little tired of artstyles that make every character virtually the same. The romantic conflict itself is very interesting as well, I like how their personalities fundamentally oppose each other even though their chemistry is so natural. I’ve noticed that there are a lot of people impatient because it’s a slow-burn, but I feel like if either of them suddenly changed their minds in the chapters just released it would make no sense and be an insult to their characters. I don’t mind waiting if the story is written so carefully and methodically. I have faith in the author and I’m looking forward to the next volume. I’ll probably follow this manga to my deathbed if I have to.

upon reading the comments which i also agree, there are many possibilities that can happen and waiting for new chap is killing me, i also miss those two little spirits they have, i hope they will still take care of theo, and appear from time to time, im always looking for them, they're too cute. ┗( T﹏T )┛
