All I gotta say (not really all I have to say) is that Cain calling Yahwi “kitty” is so cute.
Also, I feel I don’t need to plead Yahwi’s case or defend him anymore because Jooin has already basically mentioned why he is the way he is. He’s done really bad and stupid shit, but he’s not a bad guy and he’s clearly just a confused boy with zero social skills. He is constantly questioning what he can do to make Jooin like and forgive him, and he’s willing to put his reputation (which he really doesn’t care about) on the line if that makes Jooin happy. Jooin just needs to open up about exactly what he wants from him because with those zero social skills and dummy brain, he clearly won’t figure it out for himself. He’s just gonna keep running in circles until he lands on something that doesn’t make Jooin mad at him lmao.
Also also, I still stand by the fact that I don’t think Cain is developed enough as a character or in relation to Jooin in order for me to take their ship seriously. His whole story and arc still feels too fake and fanciful to have any serious endgame qualities. He doesn’t feel like he has any impact or genuine consequences regarding his character. He’s basically there to allow Yahwi the encouragement to do everything he can to win Jooin’s heart.
The only other love triangles I’ve ever really gotten into was Love or Hate and Seeing Double. With those ones, I could genuinely see it going either way and felt as though both relationships could have a valid impact. When the MC gets pulled in both directions, it feels like an actual battle between lovers. But with this one, Cain just straight up fell from the sky and was like “Imma try to make you my master/lover now.” And it just doesn’t feel valid or real. He’s obviously not a bad guy (to Jooin that is) but if genuinely feels like there’s nothing there. Their relationship feels empty.
I should really get into more yaoi concepts like this. A story where someone evil and ruthless gets taken over by someone with the capacity to be genuinely kind and seeing how the world in relation to this cruel person reacts to the sudden change in personality, I love that so much. I’m not sure what this genre would be called but I really like inter-personal relationships involving stuff like this.
I thought it was gonna be like a personality swap, and Param would turn into a dominant power bottom trying to get a rise out of Hwi, but it’s just a more snarky Param completely embarrassing himself in front of a very confident Hwi again
But the concept of the actual Param and Hwi making this version of their story up is so cute and I absolutely love it.
Due to me only acknowledging Ohn’s perspective on the adorable dummy twins (because it makes no sense to root for one twin when both are equally in the wrong and are both going to be the inevitable downfall of this relationship), I enjoy how Ohn has now found someone (2 someone’s) he’s close with and enjoys spending time with, despite them being a guy. I found it very interesting how when he thought that Seowoo was nice, memories of both Real Seowoo and Jaewoo came up, which solidifies how he can find good qualities in both of them. Like how Ohn likes the same genre of movie as Jaewoo, but he still likes Seowoo’s awkward personality and finds it refreshing. I give this chapter a 7/10 because Ohn still doesn’t know he’s being played with, but he looks like he’s having fun and is really throwing himself out there. Also I liked seeing all of his cute awkward reactions because of how hyper-aware he is of his physical contact with Seowoo. I actually wanna know how he’d react to the kiss because so far, he’s in denial about any romantic feelings but knows that he’s okay with considering Seowoo as a friend he can get close with. Seowooo (fake or real) going in for a kiss could really turn the whole relationship on its head, negatively or positively. Most likely awkwardly though lmao.
In regards to the Dummy Twins:
Jaewoo: Kinda feel bad that he’s not gonna get to see the movie and enjoy it with someone that could handle it.
Seowoo: Mans really had the courage to kiss Ohn??? Can’t wait to see what happens after.
I know everyone is talking about the notice update and fan translation of ch.22, but I legit completely forgot about how badly I want to know what’s going on between the 2nd couple! All we got were 2 panels of the big guy saying “See? Friends can have sex!” Or something along those lines, and then the really cute lil crazy friend saying “Fuuuuuuuuuck” while big guy was going in, then boom! That’s it! We saw how lil guy was freaking out over it and refused to go home, but I wanna know what actually happened before during and after! Such a tease to just throw in two panels then dip out of nowhere lmao.
Lmfaoooo one’s trying to save lives while the other is beating the crap out of someone tailing him in a parking lot. I’m pretty sure that the MC isn’t using his powers to stop the accident from happening, he’s just trying to make sure that their aren’t any casualties. Unfortunately, he’s unaware that his boyfriend has powers and is being tailed, so he probably expected him to stay in the movie theater and wait for him. When in reality, Dohyuk is now using his powers to beat up his tailer in the parking lot, and he’s probably gonna take the forefront of the accident, which the mc wasn’t able to account for, despite his efforts to stop casualties.
This story is actually very interesting and I really love the integration of the powers.
Okaaaaay? So just so we’re all clear…… Hwan isn’t endgame right? I know he’s the original person MC was in love with, and not making him endgame would break the cover art rule, but he’s obsessive, manipulative, major evil undertones, literally said the only reason he didn’t kill a kind sentient living being was because it’d make the guy he’s obsessed with upset, just has very unstable vibes… as opposed to purple boi who’s so kind and pure that he literally went against his reason for creation because of the love he felt for MC, and pretty much is perfect Main Love Interest material. Not sure how this will go but after we saw Hwan’s true identity, I can’t see him as the main love interest anymore.

My brain immediately blanked when they went down the “the reason I can’t be with him is because of his family-“ route. I hate tropes like that in this context because… like… who tf cares? I’m sorry your family was threatened and that’s actually something to worry about, but I couldn’t care less if his family is disapproving because that shouldn’t be the reason you refuse to be with him! You should refuse to be with him because he’s an absolutely horrid human being and his annoying ass face is enough to make your stomach sick! You’re in love with that? That thing? That’s who you’re in love with? The one who literally assaulted you five minutes ago because he thinks he has some creepy possessive stalker claim over you? I can’t root for this guy because his personality is shit too! How am I supposed to like a manga when the two main characters are… the worst…
Calling Haegyuem to be the worst is why I disliked..
He’s definitely not the worst, I just don’t like when main characters in yaoi are so dependent on the attention of absolutely horrible people. I hate how he’s able and willing to stick up for himself when it comes to everyone except for the psychotic sociopathic abuser who is clearly too unstable to bring forth any redeeming qualities. He’d head butt his cheating ex with a motorcycle helmet but wouldn’t do anything to that evil bitch except yell at him then give in to what he wants and that’s just very frustrating. He literally got physically assaulted and hurt by that man who was basically choking him out, but five minutes later he’s reminiscing about how much he likes him and the only thing keeping them apart is society and his family… like dude… that’s not an attractive trait for a main character to have. Literally no self-awareness.
