Idk if it’s just me, but I hate that villain trope where they’re just soooo affluent and soooo unbothered that they just smile and fuck people over calmly for no reason except boredom and because they want to, and they act like they’re above others when they react emotionally. Like the whole “awww, I think it’s so cute how flustered you are, Im gonna keep ruining your life and making you miserable with a dead smile because I’m rich and like drugs and alcohol and moneyyyy”. It’s such a lame writing tactic and it makes the character insufferable, not in a compelling villain way, but in an I roll my eyes and skip ahead every time they speak kind of way. I get they’re meant to be like sociopathic, but I feel like their comeuppance is never satisfying because no matter what, they always just stand there like :)

It got removed around the time that big drama with mangago uploaders and the author of the certain manhwa went viral 4 years back or so I think. Which also caused for comments to be disabled on here. This one was discontinued due to the uplader respecting authors wishes of not pirating their work….looks like that also had an expiration date

My least favorite thing about stories and characters and writers like this, it’s not even just the constant SA, it’s the fact that these writers hate writing bottoms that actually at least attempt to defend themselves. I don’t mean saying no and stop 1000 times, or furrowing your eyebrow, or any of that. They won’t kick, punch, push, bite, anything to actually make it clear and pain as day that the character doesn’t want to just roll over and take it. WTF do you mean he asks to JUST be friends after a brutal assault??? WHY THE FUCK ISNT HE CUSSING HIM OUT?? WHY ISNT HE RUNNING AWAY THE FIRST CHANCE HE GETS??? Why does he refuse to let him know just how fucking shitty he is for doing that?? So now the fuckass ML gets to sit there and pretend that he didn’t just brutally r@pe the MC and they’re still just gonna go about their day. I’m just so sick of yaoi artist writing their bottoms as mentally and physically weak men who can’t defend themselves let alone stand up for themselves, because even though it’s very clearly and obviously SA, completely and utterly unredeemable, and actually one of the worst fucking things you can do to someone, they still want to have a cop out of why this dude will remain the main love interest because the MC doesn’t treat the situation as it is. Because if the MC DID actually do literally anything to show that he’s fighting against what’s happening besides crying and saying no and cumming a million times (then letting him KEEP TOUCHING him afterwards), then they wouldn’t be able to be like “oooo my toxic ml is soooo sexy and complicated” like NO! HES AN ABUSIVE PREDATOR?!??! Even if he wouldn’t be able to overpower him, biting his fingers when he stuck them in his mouth, punching him, saying anything during or after that alludes to “Hey! You’re a disgusting piece of shit! I fucking hate you! You’re a sick rapist! Get the fuck out! Don’t fucking touch me! I can’t even stand to look at you, you disgusting pig! I’ll never fucking forgive you for this!” ANY OF THAT COULD’VE SUFFICED. But nah, can’t wait to brush this off and pretend it’s okay because “ooo big dick hit my prostate so good! On one hand yeah its wonderful that there are gay romance stories, like alpt of them being made. They show that their kind of love is just as normal as everyone else. I'm talking about the happier fluffy stories. But the downside is that these authors make gay men out to be predators ready to rape if either they get rejected, misunderstand and get jealous, or just straight up want to hurt the person. And to top it all off they almost always get away with it. At best they get rejected, or they lose a fucking job or some stupid shit. I can count on one hand the amount of times a rapist faced true consequences. Adding to that the victims just let it slide sometimes cause you know feelings. I do like reading bl, but it feels alot like it's hard to read it at the same time

I’m ngl, Guwon feels like a… beginner human? Like I’m not sure if he’s supernatural or whatever, but he lacks any sort of education, his emotions are sort of pure (like what you see you get), and beyond his brute strength, he’s INCREDIBLY receptive to the way the MC treats him like… a person?
He didn’t know what sex was and only seemed interested because of Teach’s responses, but when he found out, it was like the neurons in his brain connected. So I have two theories. One, what the Vet and all they’re saying is true, and Guwon was basically behaving the way he thought he should and everyone was too scared to go against him, BUT he could be swayed to be different if led the right way.
HOWEVERRR, I like my second theory more. There’s some huge shitty shit going on in this town and everyone is manipulating the FUCK out of Guwon. His strength in the apocalypse basically forced him into a leadership role but because he lacks knowledge of pretty much everything, people in the town were able to make it seem like what they wanted was actually what he wanted. Even going into town and only bringing back people he “needs” was their doing. Even with how fucked up it was, he was smiling through the murder WHILE CRYING as if it was like brainwashed into him that HE particularly had to carry out executions voted on by the town despite the fact that it crushed him.
The dude sits on a hill and watches a rock so that he can make sure it won’t fall on the town. He’s such a stickler for the rules (to the point of murder?) but he was okay with teach doing less work because he was injured (the townsfolk convinced him otherwise), the one rule is to never cross him because he’s murderous and powerful but Teach was able to stab him on his first night there with no issue? Guwon was so shattered from the murder and then getting slapped by Teach that he PASSED OUT! And why were they all just waiting there ready when it happened? Not to give a toxic top any grace, but a lot isn’t adding up.

Someone is making him do it. Also I think the doctor is telling the truth but omitting certain information. The doctor mentioned in the beginning that the original residence of the town still lives there because they still needed them. He also mentioned that they were a hunting group. What kind of dogs are hounds? Theyre hunting dogs. The hounds are apparently first priority when it comes supplies, and people seemed to care more about them than the dying children.
