Like he’s on the cover, but that could just be because he’s the second lead (and he’s lowkey highkey the villain of the story). Like… why root for him? Who would root for that? Straight up showed that the jinx doesn’t exist, and HE’S the reason for all of Haegyung’s relationships ending horribly and abruptly. Like that green haired dude was obviously a cheating corrupt bitch who Haegyung shouldn’t of been dating in the first place, but I know damn well that all of his boyfriends weren’t like that. Haegyung has been suffering his entire life because of how obsessive and possessive and psychotic and sociopathic and annoying and- etc. Woojin has been, so why on earth would he ever be the main love interest? What love? There’s no love there! I’m rooting for feral blue babe and that’s final lmao. It may have even hinted at them being endgame all the way at the beginning since the story started off with Haegyung getting drunk and kissing blue boi who then brought him home to his group apartment. I truly cannot figure out how to feel about MC because I like him as a character and feel bad about everything he’s went through, but I feel like the author’s ruining him with the whole “fatal attraction” trope. I know we’re supposed to question whether or not Woojin is the truly the main love interest since he’s in the focus but there’s all these side plots and new guys being introduced, but I just… want more than anything… for Haegyung to just be like “no… no… I actually don’t like you at all, Woojin… because you suck. Like you’re an absolutely awful psychotic sociopath with no regard for human emotion, and your laugh is equivalent to a killer’s musical queue in a horror movie… I actually can’t help but hate you because of how hate-able you are, and I genuinely want you to stay away from me for my own safety and mental stability. This manga broke the Cover Art rule, because there’s no way in hell that purple boo isn’t the main love interest at this point. Hwan is hella manipulative and obsessive and he’s sitting there trying to fuck Chiwoo into submission when purple baby just wants to make him an edible dinner lmfao. He may be on the cover art but I feel like that might be because the author decided to change the story and subvert expectations by making Hwan the villain. Like he legit looks freaking crazy and somehow Chiwoo saw that with all the information he got about Hwan lying to him and being involved with all the sex creatures trying to kill him and said “oh yeah I’ll forget my dinner date and leave alone with you to have sex without informing anyone of my whereabouts! That’s a good idea!” ESPECIALLY when there have already been monsters that made themself to look like Hwan to get close to him. Lmfaooooo I’m so glad that they had that scene with Beom because… like… no duh? My exact first thought when we first saw the gross r@pey dudes was “you’re gonna kidnap and gang bang Snow against his will? How? He’d literally destroy you.” Like honestly, did they see him and somehow completely forget that he’s a big ol’ sexy gorilla who works out twice a day and can literally crush your skull with one hand? They really saw his livestream and though “bottom=weak and submissive” and the fact that that’s not even a tiny bit the case in this manga is so awesome to me. I felt the same in previous chapters. There was just something so attractive about the fact that Beom may have acted like he was hesitant or didn’t want to do anything when Snakey boy made a move on him, but if he actually wanted him to stop, he could’ve EASILY forced him off. Like Beom is strong as hell but he was also clearly being willingly submissive because he wanted to be! And the fact that Beom is super strong didn’t take away from Snakes ability to be dominant and provide pleasure! It’s just so refreshing to see so many in depth layers of consent and actually purely enjoying the intimacy between the main couple when so many yaoi relationships start with some big overpowering top that basically forces the small and frail bottom into submission against their will. Just so gross and so unnecessary.
And it’s not even just when the bottom is small and frail! There are yaois where both the bottom and top have similar builds, but the top also has some magical seme power that grants him the super strength to STILL make the bottom unable to defend himself or even struggle against them.
