Leszhin is a great site and to be honest I only purchase 2 or 3 chapter a month and none if I lack of finance and it just to show support toward mangaka. Althought this site is free it can help gather a large amount of reader and they can help to increase more reader bcause people start to talk about it. With a huge reader then the mangaka can feel appreciate with their hard work to create a good story. If you been supported financial but lack of reader what the use?

Prior to awakening, most gay men will "go with the flow" and date girls, but it rarely is a comfortable or happy experience (unless they are bi). Once the awakening happens, the person has two choices, acceptance of their attraction to the same sex, wherein they will continue to have homosexual relationships or denial of their attraction, wherein they will "closet" their feelings of attraction and engage in heterosexual relationships. The latter choice rarely ends without many hurt by the deception.
In Oogata's case, he had his realization and awakening rolled into one experience. There's no explicit evidence of his recognition of homosexuality stated in the manga, but he does clearly state that he had always felt different, he just attributed it to his lack of expression. Often, when people have their moment of realization, they will admit to having always felt different but never said anything because they thought "everyone felt that way". After his moment of awakening with Saya, he panicked, lost his erection and ran. This is also common, particularly in cultures where homosexuality is severely frowned upon or criminalized. The fear of being shunned by society is powerful and can be seen in Oogata's thoughts when he thinks, "I can't." This statement has dual meanings here. He is thinking that he can't have sex with a man because it is frowned upon by society and he is also admonishing himself for not being able to get an erection with Saya. In the end, however, Oogata's feelings for Saya of both love and sexual attraction were greater than the societal pressures of ignorance and prejudice. This is made clear when Oogata beats the snot out of the guy from Saya's past who spread rumors about him. Oogata recognized his own ignorance and prejudice in the that guy's words and actions. By fighting him, Oogata was fighting himself. Once Oogata was able to accept his attraction, to Saya, "following through" with sex ceased being an obstacle.
This was truly a well written manga. There are many nuances and layers to the story that will go unnoticed if you only read it superficially. That is the mark of a great storyteller.

I know from experience - no you cannot only have good grades. You need people skills in order to do well too. Just like if you did well in a class but never went in to see the professor, you won't get a recommendation. Everything you do need references from legit sources now. People do disqualify you when you're overqualified for a job as well because they think you will leave soon and don't try as hard. Anyways, you cannot do anything well without experience or reference. It takes time to study hence he neglected other stuffs thus never got any social skills. This is why both are important. One can do well without having super good grades. Balance is the key. I saw so many people who are average at studies but eventually do better than people who are supposedly good at studies

I definitely agree with all of these points. Colleges like UC Berkeley accept students with a good balance between club activities and good grades. There are cases when even straight-A students do not even get to attend, whereas students who averages C's but with a good history of activities outside of school do. In college applications for top schools , a large portion asks for such things. They want to see if you have the capability of handling multiple activities at once or if you have a life outside of work.
MC was able to get into a good college, but when asked about what he does outside of work, he doesn't have anything. "Oh, yeah. All I do is work, go home to sleep, and repeat."
