And then I see this. I've read the same chapter like ten over times. Cause the dragon is so friggin cute and the gyoza look soooo damn good.
That was so out of character for him as he was written to be a guy who would listen to the MC and not take advantage of her. I feel like the author purposefully ripped apart his character with the worst possible cliche so her planned endgame pair would be realised. Which is really gross and sad, because it would have otherwise ended perfectly.
Prince guy is actually more my type here but I think MC will go better with Cabel. He helps her sort out her feelings (except her fake confession) better and I can see why he fell for her. As for the prince, I think he likes her but it isn't as much as Cabel.
The prince is interesting however, too bad it's obvious he's not the ML. Also, for all of Cabel's possessiveness, he genuinely doesn't deserve the lie. The MC is annoying in this regard. She should have told him as soon as possible about the mistake. Then again, I don't know how I would react with a guy I barely know looking ready to hurl me off a cliff. She's shown to not be able to keep her cool and I get that she's still afraid of him at that point even despite him calming her down when her powers couldn't come out.
The cracked examination orb was hilarious. I'm guessing we can look forward to a hinted at arrogant Cardinal who sees MC as a threat, the princess possibly having her eye on Cabel, and reveals about the prince and Cabel's sob stories, I mean backstories, also, more smiley Cabels please.
...And how till now manga readers will still be clueless as to who the true ML is at the end of S1. I swear if someone keeps updating the cover with whoever is frontline in the running I will laugh my ass off.
