I love how the ending of this side story tells us that "happy ending" is not all about forgiving and forgetting all the bad thing happened in the past. There really are times when you can't fathom forgiving a certain person, and it doesn't mean you're being a btch, but its because you are a human and you have a feelings.
People, its okay if you can't forgive a person who hurt you or did a bad thing to you yet. Not forgiving someone is not a sign of being ungrateful. Don't let other people invalidate your feelings. Only you can decide when to forgive that person, only your heart can tell if you're ready to forgive the person who hurt you.
Heal, let yourself be healed from the scars of the past.

I agree with that AND it’s imperative to find some intermediate. Idk what the word would be, but there are a couple people in my life I can’t forgive ever. But idk how you hold onto that without actively hurting yourself too. Maybe like, I don’t forgive what you did to me, but l’m learning how to accept that it did happen and not let it define or hold me victim anymore.

those people who're attacking hyesung saying he's being a drama queen, probably are apathetic and shows no sympathy to other person. If you really read the whole story line, its very clear that Hyesung's life has been so tough, had a trauma because of how his father treats him. And seeing his father after all those time triggers his trauma he's been hiding, mind you that not because Hyesung is known as bubbly and bitchy, doesn't mean he's already healed from his past.
We can't also blame him for "neglecting" Byul during this time, because if your traumatic past resurfaces, your anxiety is eating you up, your mind is not on the best state. Hyesung probably thinks that locking himself inside their room is much better thing to do than being physically present with Byul and Dojin but not at his best state.

right? that's why i don't get those people who're telling hyesung shouldn't stop being a parent to byul "jUsT bECaUsE" his past was brought up once again. no, hyesung's not stopping to be a parent to byul at the first place, he just need time. Time to cope with everything he's been through, time to gradually heal from all of trauma his parents caused him. Why people need to be so insensitive ヽ(`Д´)ノ

we can't actually blame how frustrating their conversation went. yahwi wasn't able to express how he really feels or doesn't know how to communicate well, bc of how he was raised by his grandpa. and to jooin, we can't also blame that he didn't get straight to the point and tell what he really wanted bc first how are you gonna react if you feel that the person you like is not sincere with what he is saying. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ i think this scene will be a turning point for yahwhi, it should be or else he'll be forever damned and no character development will save his ass anymore
Why do I feel like series of problems will soon rise? Lmao, we still don't know about Seungho's dad, In-Hun and the other royal mosquitoes are missing in action. This manhwa gave me so many head and heartache that having chapters like this makes me uneasy skdjfhfjjsjsjs
