he was contemplating it because he thought this marriage was simply arranged and for the betterment of the company. sejin doesn’t believe that someone who comes from such a renowned company could choose someone like him. he thought he had to still follow his father’s orders and maybe stealing the info could finally be what gets him his father’s approval. that’s why he agreed to the marriage in the first place.
to repeat what a lot of people aren’t understanding, trauma doesn’t just go away after only TWO MONTHS, especially if he’s experienced it his whole life. old habits die hard.
Yeah, he is traumatized so he is made to care about his adopted family, but that trauma can also make him hurt other people and that is what I'm going on about. He is traumatized but he should have an agency AS AN ADULT to discern or he can't? We were shown that he CAN, given how he did not actually continue that stealing thing whatever. So I'm expecting that author won't make trauma his personality and show his agency more.
