Oh I forgot to add. It does not have 6 volumes. It has 2 full volumes and for volume 3 chpts it's still publishing. Book volume isn't out yet for that cuz chpt 5 was only just released this month in japan. Chpts are released every months in anthology mangas before the specific story is collected into a tankoubon the following year. There is no volume 3 tankoubon of sweet heart trigger yet, let alone 6. Renta English is only 3 chpts behind jp release rn

Homophobia and other bigotry can very much be born from ignorance and lack of interaction, I think that the characters being homophobic is meant to show level of knowledge characters like him have when they live in areas like they do. I like that it’s showing that they can change but they’re also getting the criticism they deserve for their objectively bad views and stances.
